Sup everyone this is the mighty Unicorn Lord.
Anyways, this is my first event ever as a Artist in the Artist Alley and I was wondering what I need to/should do before I go.
Awesome art, a table cloth and change are the three things that come to mind right now.
...and I'm not positive about the table cloth. I may be mixing up my cons.
the tables are covered, but the covering is stapled so dont get snagged....
and for all of you that complained. I talked to them, same thing this year....either pull it out or avoid it.
I remember from last year that due to union rules or somesuch any hand carts aren't allowed inside the convention center. But could I put stuff into a wheeled suitcase and drag it in?
The rule is HAND CARRIED in ONE trip. Now what you can get away with really depends on the union foreman and what AA head deems appropriate.
Signs... this is the thing I almost always forget and end up doodling up last minute. Have some nice signs that say what your prices are. (:
Oh, and business cards, or something so that people can continue to view your art/purchase it after the convention or just be in contact with you.

i know it would sort of defeet the purpose but what if we wheeled it to the door, then carried the suit case to our aa table, because to be with all of the hangy thingys its gonna take allot more then one trip if we have to do it by hand.
thats the point, if it takes more than one trip, the union wants you to use them for those trips.
