Title: Tips needed
Post by: roth14 on May 04, 2009, 07:12:25 PM
I now i already posted this in the Naruto gathering area, but does anyone have an tips for the people who are running to a gathering from another gathering with only a few minutes to spare and have to costume change?

I hope this is in the right area.

if you have no problem with stripping in public
then run as fast as you can to your hotel room while tearing off your clothes
thats what i always do because i'm stupid and i always plan too many close together cosplays

Are the bathrooms a good place to change?

Bathrooms will probably be a bit crowded during a con, especially a big one. I always change in the bathrooms, though.

The bathrooms there always seemed to be reather empty to me.

I'd say if any part of the second costume would fit under the first, go for it. Other than that, I'd say bathrooms are much quicker than running to your room, unless perhaps you have a low-level room in the same hotel... If you're not shy, in my experience people will understand if you change really fast in the corner if every stall is filled up, but wear tasteful underwear and stand away from the door.

For me I just go back to the hotel and change, since most of the gatherings I go to wait like 5 or so minutes before starting
since they expect people to be a little bit late
