So im getting to the convention a lot earlier than my cousin so if i get in line to buy him a weekend pass for him i dont need his id like a early registration right? and i can just give him the badge and he'll be good to go? thanks

It would be better if you accompanied your brother. If the older brother has government issued ID then he can register on his own, but not for the younger bother
