Found at a local 99 Cents Only store:
Viz Inu Yasha DVD's (T.V. series volumes 23,24,25,29,30,33,39,and 40, Movie 4) for, you guessed it, 99 cents each.
I'm guessing there's more, but the shelf they were on is full, so I'll check later in the week.
Seriously? What store? Hopefully it's close by my driving distance. It'll be a great birthday present for my niece, she loves InuYasha.
It's the Second one in Norwalk at Studabaker Rd., and Firestone Blvd. (I don't know what area you are in)
Usually if one in the stores in the area gets a load of DVD's, all of them do (like the Warner home video titles they got last fall). I'm going to another store later, so I'll see what they have.

Update: Found more at another store, but the only different one I found was Vol. 27.
Update: Found Vol. 17 yesterday at the first store.
I also found some volumes at a 99 cents only in Las Vegas (found vol.38 here as well).
Thanks for the info. But I'll just wait till they open up in San jose in Sept. 10. All other locations are too far ><
Let me know what you find. I'm thinking of getting extras for people that can't get them or find all the volumes (or maybe fore trades).
Update:
Found at Big-Lots: Bandai, Funimation, and Sony Pictures Anime DVD's for $3.00 each.
Titles I found: Steam Boy, Memories, and random volumes of School Rumble, Mushi Shi, Black Blood Brothers, Glass Fleet, Zegapain, Tsubasa, Flag, Negima, Eureka Seven,, Hell Girl, Trinity Blood, Yu Gi Oh, Yu Gi Oh GX, and various Gundam Titles.
Update Pt2:
Found at 99 Cents only, Ranma 1/2 movie One and Two box set.
Okay, so here's a sample of what I got:

And yes, I know (now) there is a duplicate of one of the Inu Yasha Discs.

Have also seen several Nicktoons titles as well ( Avatar, Fairly Odd Parents for examples)$4 each.
I might just head to Big Lots tonight.....
I found that there is one near my hotel in San Diego, so I'm checking to see what they have tomorrow.
They have them in 99 Cent stores all over the Los Angeles Area and Ventura County right now. Haven't checked what specific volumes, but they seemed to have a fairly wide variety to choose from.
Man, your 99 cents store sells anime? The one close to my house doesn't sell any. Maybe Big Lots though...
Dang... that is one cool 99 cents store.. o.O

Not just one, apparently all of them in the L.A. / Orange county area, and at least on in Las Vegas.
Check above posts about Big Lots and Anime.
:O Maybe I'll go check them out.... since I need to go find some cheap fake eyelashes anyways for my Yoko and Miku cosplays anyways... xD!!
I went to Big Lots. It had anime but it was all bad/stuff I had already seen. I'll definitely look there in the future though.
So I did go to the 99 cent store... but I totally forgot to look for DVDs... good thing that I didn't though, cuz even if I had found something I would have wanted I wouldn't have been able to buy it.. :c The cash registers were only accepting cash... fail! (I had nothing lol)
They have them in the Gilroy 99cent store :D I bought 3 I believe I have yet to watch them though XD I think they had 8 different ones I could find.
^ first verification of the DVD's north of Ventura County. ^
Well, It's been about nine months since I found any notable bargains, but today at a local Big Lots I found an assortment of Funimation DVD's at $3.00 each. Some are even box sets of half or even full season sets and movies. Titles include various volumes of Shuffle, Negima, Tsubasa, Claymore One Piece: The Desert Princess and the Pirates, Full metal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa, Heat Guy J complete series set,Aquarion Complete series box 1, Sasami Magic Girl Club season 1, and a lot more stuff. (Hell, there was even some Dragonball Z movies there for you people that are interested...)
I'll try to post some pictures of some of the discs I got later.

I just picked up a copy of Puzzle Quest for PC at $4.00 yesterday at Big Lots. Gonna look up the 99 cent store though. I'll probably watch and donate to the library or a teen center or something. I love Big Lots a lot.
If you have their Rewards Card, and buy 20 bucks worth of stuff, at Big Lots, you get 20 percent off. So like, you can just get practical things, and the anime for less than $3.00. I hope I get to see IGPX soon for 3 bucks or something.
Sometimes, even 7-11's have assorted deals too for that cheap.
Thanks
Bobby
Actually, I saw copies of IGPX last summer / Fall at a few local Big Lots stores.
Ok as a former 99 cent store employee, if you ask a head cashier at the time or call about an item, they can tell you if they have it and if they don't you can request it to brought into stock at that store. (Atleast mine did, people went crazy for the Pet Shop toys when I was working D:) Most 99 cent stores tend to carry the same stock everywhere. I really don't know if this helps in anyway either XD

LOL! Wow. Inu Yasha isn't THAT bad! It was actually one of my favorites in junior high. ^^

these are great [literally bottom of the barrel] bargains.
too bad there isnt any places that have these deals on anime or video games CDs.
i dont have time to watch stuff anymore, but listening to my favorite OST would be great while driving around.
if anyone finds any epic deals on CDs let us know! :D

I had not even thought of checking the CD's. I'll let you know if I see anything.
