Since last years photo shoots ( or lack there of) sucked so hard this year needs to be the greatest.
I WOULD suggest cosplay chess, because there is ALWAYS a need for more Cosplay Chess, but with our record of low numbers, that'is looking unlikely.
I'm thinking we could do a photshoot at the Church ( You know, THAT one) and maybe another in the plaza with that bakary. That way Toshi can eat lots of cake and get diabetes. we will have plenty of room for shinaghins.
FYI- I refuse to spend months bullshiting about each individual persons time schedule. Once we get a little closer I'll pick a couple of times that do not coincide with major events and that will be that.

Time Request Submissions for the Gatherings List do not open till January 7, 2010. The large 60 + cospeep gatherings from the past have first choice of time. Those are: Naruto, Final Fantasy All, Bleach, and Shonen Jump. Once their times are in the slots other gatherings can request day and time.
Please update your first post in the above mentioned format and then submit your thread url to the gatherings url thread also mentioned in my above post.

Also, for my birthday I would LOVE to have a giant game of cosplay-Arkham Horror. ( It's a great game and it hates you)
On the earlier side of Sunday would work for me, I think -- believe Trinity Blood's aiming for the afternoon again (though I'm not sure), and the Black and White Ball is in the evening. Not too early, of course, especially since I expect the Masquerade Saturday night will have some folks up later, but perhaps in the midday range?
That's my two cents, anyway.
Earlier on Sunday works for me too at this point. :)

That's a few 'earlies' and I one midday. How about 11-12 ish? We can always do another on Monday. I'd like to do a photshoot at the nearby church anyway.

Monday obligations (Juuni Kokki), but at least tentatively, that works for me Sunday. I'd prefer to the eleven side, since I'm not sure when we're aiming for TB and that'll take me a while to get into.

I did look up Japanese boys names spelled "Yuu" and found that it means superior. Considering his origin, it makes perfect sense.

Hmm...as little as I like Linali this brings an up a good point, She'd probably be pretty good at football. She's fast probably fast enough to not have to worry about being hurt and she'd be great at kicking field goals.
Kanda'd make a good distraction cuz he can take all the damage while Allen sits on the side lines and eats hot dogs and drinks all their random brand sports drink.
The only part of football I like is watching them take a beating
and bitching about what a bunch of babbies they are for staying out due to injuries. Walk it off dammit! I had to attend my ...'friends; super bowl party just to watch him jump around like a school girl. It's pathetic really he's older than I am. -_-;
Allen's is also prob. the heart not to mention he is the 14th as well as being 100% sync with his innocence making him a General Rank ;D

First of all, my hair isn't long enough for Kanda ( would have been but nooooo >_<) and trying to put a pony tail in a wig is much more of a pain in the ass that I thought.
As for shoes ( uuuuugh shoes) you'd be amazed how difficult it is to find plain, black, Chinese slippers.
Have you tried a clip-in? It's what I use for Kanzeon from Saiyuki (my hair's long enough but won't hold the curl) for precisely the reason of wig+updo=hell. Just a thought. Especially if you're dyeing your hair black for Kanda, it'd be reasonably easy to match extensions.
(I wound up ordering my Chinese flats for JK online for precisely that reason. Pain in the bupkis.)

Eh yah know, I haven't actually considered that. Specifically for that reason- I don't know if it will be exactly the same shade.
Also I'm one of those tsubborn people who believes that his hair should have a blue tint. I may try that to save me the

I finally did find a place that sells the shoes for like $6! Wammy wuzzle...that I've decided Ito commission a uniform. They're still nice to have.
BTW I may end up adding Mother as our Cross. She is seriously considering attending. ( Dunno if I was supposed to tell you that- if you didn't already know) and has been threatened many times with beatings if she does not bring Cross, as if that'd make any impression on our cranky Mother.

Last Fanime there was some Kumui with a toy drill who tried to 'fix' Mugen ( broke it Thurs evening >_<) . I am now traumatized by the sound of toy drills.

Fanime owns the hell out any other convention I have been to. The staff are by far the best. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Oh! I am coslaying Lenalee (original uniform + Dark Boots cause... just cause even though I'm caught up and sad when she lost her long hair :() as well! But i might switch to Rhode last minute if I have time... (since i have her complete outfit... but not the hair)
For all the Lenalee cosplayers... I wonder if we can do a group dance? (Like Love & Joy or Hare Hare Yukai)

I've seen different versions. IMO the first uniform is the best, and I look good in black and white ^__^

@ININ I like the first uniform but my fav is the Crown Clown or The Omega Crown Clown hahaha.

Yah, you were. There dont tend to be a lot of male Kanda's. Hes just too pretty...even for some girls.
And your very welcome, I've never organized a shoot before. I didnt expect such a large turn out at all.( last year there were like 5 people.) Guess I need to take a page from the Bleach shoot and invest in a bullhorn for next year.

Yah, sorry about that. there wasnt much I could do once the photographer took over. I didnt mind at first, hell, Im a terrible photographer then I lost control of the whole thing.
You know, I HATE all of my pictures, maybe Ill just run it and stay out of photos next year.

Dante: Wigs are a pain in the ass. Especially ones with heavy ponytails. You have to pin the hell out of them to keep em from slipping.
If I weren't soo adamant on Kandas hair being blue id just use my own. I was very tempted as it was.
Moon: I would have liked more HQ myself. Even, if we only had one Bak-chan and Komui. Maybe more next year.
