Title: Transportation to Hotel
Post by: Ammorin on November 01, 2009, 02:07:27 PM
I don't know if this is the right category but is there a way to take BART then a bus or something like that to the hotel or the convention center? Well...they're pretty close in distance anyways.

Try http://511.org/ - just put in your address, and then your hotel's, and it should give you some options.

Oh, that's true - plus they have street view, which is nice for spotting landmarks and getting a sense of where things are, visually.

From Fremont BART you take the 180 to Diridon and from there it should be familiar once you get to San Fernando and Market st.

Tony hit it right on the Dot.

511.org is pretty awesome.

you can even call it from your phone and it can help you out with your travel needs.

I'm surprised there isnt an iphone or Droid app yet.

and to answer your original question.

Bart stops in Fremont, you take bus #180 to get to Diridion station in San Jose.
From there you could take several buses towards the San Jose Convention Center but the most direct bus #23

all the same info can be obtained via 511.org

Happy and safe traveling! Happy Holidays everyone.
