Anyone like www.penny-arcade.com? I just discoved it and thought it was hillarious. http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?date=2003-04-07 <-That's the best :)

I was thinking about making a Gabe costume but I don't think it would be right for fanime so maybe I'll just wait until the San Diego Comic Con to wear it.

Actually, I did see quite a few Gabe & Tycho cosplayers at last year's Sakura Con, especially since the authors (the real-life Gabe & Tycho, who look nothing like their comic personae) were GOH's. So you'd have nothing to worry about as far as P-A cosplay at Fanime or anime cons in general, Felicity. I think since then, Gabe & Tycho (the authors) have really taken a shine to the anime con scene and webcomics are just another part of our culture, anyway. ^_^

There was actually a Cardboard Samuri skit in last year's Der Cosplay... and I believe there was another cardboard tube samuri also running around.  I say go ahead and make a Gabe costume if you want to.  ^_^

Joining the masses, are ya? So many webcomics! I just wish I'd discovered them a few years sooner. Had my own for over a year and a half! *thumps up and cheesy grin* ^_^

Ya know what? I've never SEEN Gabe or Tycho. well, pictures, but in not person. Not only do I live in washington, but a decent proximity to seattle. I've also never been to SakuraCon...but I've been to Fanime. *scratches her head*

They're really, really, REALLY not as cool as they look in the comic. In fact...they look like a couple of dorks. In comparison, it's basically a contrast of me in real life to my personae as if it were drawn to look like Vash the Stampede and Faye Valentine had an illegitimate love-child.
