After months of hard work and frighteningly soft hands, I've finally completed my big project for the year: Anime Lip Balms!

They're completely handmade. I measured the ingredients, added and tested the flavours, distributed them amongst tins, and even designed and stuck on the labels myself. I'm going to be releasing new flavours in sets of three, the current shonen-ai theme is just a test run. The current flavours are Uke (Sugar), Seme (Spiced Orange), and Yaoi (Strawberry). All three smell fantastic. (And the Uke even sparkles. :3) Once I'm sure this project has merit, I'm going to release Shonen (Vanilla), Shojou (Chocolate), and Moe (Either Cherry or Melon). :3 I'll have around thirty tins of these in the Artist's Alley this year, and by the end of June I should have an etsy shop with them available.
Please let me know what you think, and if you have any flavour suggestions/requests just say so. :D

Also, do you have a list of ingredients? My one concern is the fact some people may have allergic reactions...
By FDA regulations, there is an ingredient list on the bottom of the tin. It's all-natural, and the only semi-common allergen in it is cocoa butter which I warn people about when I give it to them :)
Here's the ingredient list: White Cocoa Butter, Apricot Kernel Oil, Shea Oil, Avacado Butter, Castor Oil, Emu Oil, Mango Butter, Candelilla Wax, Carnauba Wax, Tamanu Oil, Flavor, Vitamin E Acetate

My initial goal price was $3 a tin, but at this point I'll actually be losing money if I charge that. ): It'll probably be $4 or $5 per tin, and hopefully in the future I'll find a way to drop it down to $3. I'm glad you guys like it! :)

Thanks to everyone who stopped by! :) Thanks to the lip balm, I was very close to breaking even this year. I'm now working on getting that etsy shop and the new flavours ready, but I have a question. I have to order some more lip balm tins, and now that I have a bit of money from the AA I have the option of instead ordering tins with threaded tops. Would you guys prefer that? They're a little more expensive than the regular ones, but very fancy. :P

i got some lip balm! i really like it, the flavor/scent is now imprinted in my mind as "fanime" and so whenever i use it (which is five or six times a day) i think of fanime! and also my seme ^__^

Absolutely, as long as the AA rules don't change in a way that prevents me from doing so. :)
I wouldn't call my Etsy shop complete, exactly, but it's set up to the point of functioning. I'm still learning a lot about etsy. ^^;
