Since it seems like all the suggested hotels are booked, what other(s) are suggested?

Try the Ramada Limited. It is cheap, provides continental breakfast, and is only 2 or so blocks from the convention

I would suggest Motel 6 (formally Red Roof Inn) that is next to the first hotel fanimecon was at. Plus is the light rail is right outside of the motel and the rooms are big. Stayed there for a night and it wasn't too bad esp the price ($77).

Each night, but this was last summer. You would have to check the motel 6 website to see what the prices are.
