Hi Folks,
I was wondering what is this Green Ribbon thing at Fanime? My friend put it on Facebook, and have no clue what's it about? Is this a Bleach thing?
Thanks
Bobby
The green ribbon is exclusive to the Fanime Facebook group. It's so members of the group can see who else is in the Facebook group. = v=
Please e-mail me the contact for the creator/administrator of the facebook group. There may be a problem with the green ribbons. My e-mail is below.
I'm still checking with my cohort, but I am going to (tentatively) say for now that there should be no problems with your ribbons, unless they say VOLUNTEER in big bold letters on them =V
**EDIT**
Actually, no. You know what? I changed my mind. Your ribbons are fine, don't worry about it. As long as you're not actively trying to make counterfeit volunteer ribbons (ie making ribbons that say "VOLUNTEER" in big bold letters) then there is no problem. Have fun!
Hi maybe i can provide some answers or some form of clarifcation.
The green ribbon is more like a green bow its ment to look like a gothic lolita bow that can be tied anywhere on the body but easily seen. I chose green for the soul purpose that it doesn't match anyone's cosplay ideas so that a random person wouldnt be mistakenly taken as an facebook member. The ribbons are plain and most of then (except for mine with has gold leaf and a green cat bell on it) shouldn't get in the way with the Voulenter ribbons. Sorry if this has caused any amount of confusion. Email me at
[email protected] if you have any further questions.

i think it should also mentioned that this Fanime Facebook "green ribbon" identifying marker is NOT an official Fanime Con marker for staff, volunteers, attending member etc., or 'special members' around the convention.
This is a completely separate Facebook group of members 'attending and identifying each other' via these green ribbons.
For example: any Rovers staff should be identified by a specific Arm band [ i think its still yellow] with "rovers" on the armband itself. That and the radio should be a give-a-way as a noted Fanime Staff member as well. ;)
trying to use this green ribbons other than identifying yourself from this Facebook Fanime group would be a major no-no.
Remember that "official" FanimeCon Badges are required and need to be in plain sight in order to enjoy the awesomeness of the convention- Thanks!
Get Hype 4 Fanime. :D
hey wait a tick, i might've joined the wrong facebook group.
can someone link me?
im like part of like seven different fanime facebook pages :P
