FIXED. Seriously Jiang Jin?
now I know and can ADMIT that sometimes I have lame/fail/ pointless post.
but at LEAST i try to drive a conversation with wit, charm and at least some humor along with the people id like to call my 'friends' on this forum.
You sir/madam watever you are, have been asked nicely by the moderators and even the sysadmin to try and put some real content behind your posts and you still insist to post like this.
Seriously, whats the point? ???

Passenger jet aircraft were a marvel when they first emerged. The first passenger BLAH BLAH BLAH ...
Too much to read, don't care, don't care, don't care. GOD! Don't care.

Further proof why I think Jiang Jin shouldnt post anyone on the internet anymore.

tsk tsk tsk. at least [i think i was] nicer in my attempt to discourage you from doing stupid things.
take it from another stupid person on the internets.
they [we] dont care about your posts, but other can easily generate a topic out of mocking you lack of ability to do so :P
i have to admit in a weird way - Jiang Jin has more attention on anime nation forums only because theyre more 'normally' active.
Things are kinda quiet here around these fanime forum parts.
Seriously, can he just be banned now?
I'm trying hard to convince myself that he's doing this on purpose but it seems he's just that "special"
You're trying? Jiang Jin is trying. Very trying. ... as in my nerves.
.
why does everyone spell offense wrong?
your the fourth person to do so. if anything, thats offensive :P
.
Quote from: Jiang Jin on August 13, 2010, 08:56:37 AM
No, I checked the spelling of offence in Microsoft Word and it was not marked as a spelling error.
*googles spelling of "offense vs offence"
huh. i didnt realize that they are both valid spellings of the word.
well, technically the version with the "c" is British version... but who counts the british? honestly. :P

I am not attempting to anger anybody in this forum. I am just posting facts that other people might find interesting. Mind you I have violated none of the forum guidelines in this community such as posting racist or sexist threads so I hope that people do not take any further offence.
Although, it seems everything you've posted also has absolutely nothing to do with this community whatsoever(minus the first two or three posts you made....you completely went off the tracks after that).

despite me also not agreeing with the posts or content most of the times, i think he's technically withing the forums rules. i think. to a baseline degree.
course, id rather wait for a moderator or sysadmin to make final judgement.
i make pointless posts too, i just think my a bit more thought provoking than just cut and paste factoids that are un-interesting.
@Jiang Jin if you really wanna educate someone, then become a teacher. this is technically not a "teaching" forum on random subjects. forums from my impression are suppose to be discussions and collaborations about relevant topics and having the audience as well as the original poster get somewhere with the conversation. IMO your starting conversations with a brick wall of info, and thus - just being a pointless post.
of course again thats depends on the interpretation from person to person.
Jiang Jin's topics only have become interesting, because us 'regular' posters disapprove and/or have issues with its discussion-ability.
and now ive seem to have lost my point as well. -sigh- this is more infectious and problematic than i though.
and again i stand by the spelling should be "OFFENSE" :P

Well I'm still on "The Fence"about the spelling.
At least the discussion didn't actually go towards aircraft innovations ;D. Reading the other forums that Jin posted in, I say the FC forums are handling it better though. All of the threads went completely off "topic".
<---Oh, look! An ignore button feature! Guess who I'm gonna click it on (not myself, of course).
To ADMINs: Can we forum members make our own CHALLENGE to Jin?
Go to a open thread under the events section and actually contribute something worthwhile for the actual FanimeCon convention itself. Don't start a new topic (cuz we all know where that's gonna go), and don't simply just post "I agree" or another 1-liner, or something like that. The post should not be about public-things, aircraft innovations, or your views to start a conversation or whatever you find "interesting".
Here's another challenge: actually attend FanimeCon.
But I'm facepalming like everyone else around here. I believe you ran out of challenges. And I'm not an Admin.
Because a good offence is a good defense.

This is why you shouldn't post Jerry.

Totally agree! (except for the Jerry shouldn't post thing. I get lots of lols from him).
.
How many forums have you (spam) posted these long winded wastes of band-width topics on. It's not about the topic being in a general thread, it's just that nobody wants to read all that stuff. Try posting a topic that's say, not BORING!
The post about "Buy Tramadol Online Dream Pharmaceutical" was a better read.

The innovations I posted in this thread are real. The information can be researched on google and this time it is accurate. Although I know this is a deviation from the usual content in fanimecon but it is in the General Discussion area where anything can be discussed.
Oh, it may be real. But does it make sense to post such information on a message board primarily for use by people interested in Anime and Geek subcultures?
No. Not really.
Might I add, with the amount of information and the sheer grammatical correctness of it... You sir, have Ass Burgers...
(And before you correct me on that, it was intentional. srsly)
In the words of Gary Radnich and Tony Bruno: NOBODY CARES!!! ... about aircraft innovation

Oh god, my sides hurt from laughing at that.
What? This s**t is still going on? Is this some experiment to see how bland he can make a topic? I can beat that! *Starts writing about the innovations in water purification and how this has unintentionally affected air purification.*
Actually, I wouldn't mind reading water purification innovations.

He / She has been checking out the forums the last few days and hasn't had the nerve to post anything. I'm just waiting to see if there is a post denying that (s)he is spamming this stuff. I've already got both barrels loaded for that one,

maybe Jiang Jin has run out of boring topics? :P
Or can't back up previous ones.
This has become quite a big deal. The attention alone is unnecessary and by now this topic would have fallen onto the second page where it would have been forgotten and eventually deleted but everybody wanted in on it and it keeps getting bumped back to the first page. :P
It's not like he posted up some male-chauvinistic bull, like brandaby.
*BUMP*
Someone explain to me what the big deal is?
Also, pix of these post-concorde planes, thanks.
.
based on the end of your first post, unless you exceed 2400km/h i'm not impressed. :P
.
without increasing fuel consumption in relation to what? a 747? typical private jets? It looks like a small plane, so I'm assuming it's a private jet?
It is small. It's a civilian plane (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APV5LnQvqFw) not an airliner like the Concord was. It also isn't a Supersonic plane either. Not much of a comparison
I won't be impressed unless it can make the jump to light speed. Hit it Chewy!

http://girlsbydesign.com/blog/2009/01/23/flying-car/
is this even "fuel efficient" ?
^^ It's the 21st Century and this is the flying car we were promised? ^^
1950's you let me down. :P
There's the car that's propelled by a giant fan. When you let out a parachute, it can fly. It won't give you the height of an airplane, but it still flies. I think they tried to fly it from Europe to Africa?
There's also a hover car inspired by Star Wars Episode 2. It uses 4 fans to raise it off the ground. Like you'd imagine, it's not fuel efficient and it doesn't go more than 15 feet off the ground. hah!
Which de havilland comet? There's a racing plane and an airline. If it's the airliner, I would've thought it would get better mileage due to its size. If it's the racing plane... that's an 80 year old design. :P
.
I'm surprised that the discussion actually did go to aircraft innovations
I find aircraft and technology actually interesting, so I didn't give a troll response. :)
Hmm, 200km/h faster than an airliner... Not bad for a private jet. I still think it should get better mileage, but I'm not aeronautic engineer so I don't know much about their engines.

My dad is... which is why I find this entire thread dumb and funny and the same time. I don't guy why you guys even bother trolling the OP when he's too dumb to understand.
Nobody's explained to me how dumb he is. Enlighten me, as I don't watch these threads all day anymore.
Okay.
1: He / She Spam Posts these topics on several boards. Even some of the replies are spam posted.
2: Comparing a sub-sonic small personal type jet to a Concord?
3: These topics are boring as hell. Not the subjects necessarily, but the actual presentation of them.
4: Why are you even interested? (or are you doing a real job of mocking Jiang Jin?)
As stated, technology discussion tends to interest me. Learning about new innovations and the future is cool as well.
I just found out Korean Air has plugs so I can use my laptop the entire flight. That completely blew me away, haha.
You give a strong case that mikey also just handed to me, and I agree. His posts are boring as hell, but the subjects aren't.
Next topic: Concorde or blackbird. That should be more comparable. :)

Comparing the Cesna to a passenger airliner that could travel at Supersonic speed and carry a lot of passengers? Not even in the same class.
And you just backed up the fact your post are boring as hell.
And since you skipped over Item one, I guess that you are confirming you posts are spam.
Oh great. Now your just encouraging him to form 20 more of these topics.
He'll do it anyways, or just bump this thread again. It'll take a couple of days of poking around the forums before he does.
My topic suggestion just got shut down, hard. And I agree it's not a comparison with that big of a difference.
