Heya! Since I didn't see updated information for 2011, I just wanted to throw this out for brainstorming purposes. Friends and I are wondering about hosting a "Girl's Guide to Gundam" and would love to have some guys join us.
we are still finalizing the topics, but it will cover the entire Gundam franchise from start to just released. UC to UC, so to speak hahaha.
We would love any Keroro Gunsou "experts" input as well.

A.C. franchises get too much love. You need to remind people about the awesomeness that is U.C. Like for example why doesn't Gundam Unicorn or the New Zeta get any love?

Depending on the topics, I'd be interested in attending such a panel. Unless it devolves into little more than some sort of "OMG YAOI! <3 <3 <3" session. (Yeah, the late 90s Wing fandom left scars. :P ) The socio-political structure of the various series' settings, UC's newtype phenomena, Tomino's novel trilogy, and mechanical specs are favorite things I like to overthink.
Much as I love Universal Century though, the alternate universes are just as much a part of the franchise and deserving of discussion as well. Cripes, you could probably run an entire panel just on the UC timeline, and another two or three on the After Century, Future War, Cosmic Era, and so on timelines.
