Title: Registration help
Post by: KaitoYusa on January 31, 2011, 06:53:54 PM
Hi, this is my second time going to Fanime - first time going for more than one day, and first time registering online. What exactly is the registration process? I am registering for Friday through Sunday. Is it $55 for the whole thing? If not, do I have to register a the site more than one time?

When you register online you register for the whole weekend. You should only have to register once. You'll create your account on the website with all of your details and then pay for it via paypal. After that all you have to do is pick up your badge when you get there in May.

If it's possible, I would try to pick up your badge on Day Zero, the Thursday before con. This way you aren't missing any of the convention action and you can walk right in on Friday and start your Fanime experience.

Wow, so it's $55 for the whole event... I wish I could make it there Thursday night, but I'm carpooling with a cousin, and she doesn't have her parents' permission to stay there without a chaperone. Maybe I should ask if I qualify as one, haha.

Thanks for the info.

For the most part, Thursday ends up being pretty limited in events. You definitely won't be missing much if you have to pick up your badge on Friday.

It's often suggested to pick up your badge on Thursday because the pre-reg line is so much shorter and there's no stress of having to go to event x afterwards.
