I decided to host a gathering and to make up an excuse for it, I made it Bay Area's cosplay day~ I think I'd be nice to meet up early in May, since FanimeCon isn't until the end of the month and all. I decided on Kelley Park in San Jose, CA mainly because of the Japanese gardens, I'd be a nice place for photoshoots. There will be picnic benches and places to BBQ, so I expect that there will be a lot of food and room to hang out. We'll play various games, larger ones will be decided on when the date's closer. If you'll be attending, let me know who you'll be if you're cosplaying.

DATE: May 7th, 2011
TIME: Noon until whenever everyone leaves
RULES: This is a public area, so please no revealing cosplay or insanely large props. Weapons, drug, and alcohol won't be tolerated.

I will go. I am going to cosplay as The Gentleman's Alliance Cross (Shinshi Domei Kurosu) Haine. Do I bring my sword or leave it a home (the sword is my cosplay prop).

This sounds like it'll be fun and the park is less than 5 minutes drive away from where I live.

Does cosplaying as the Panels Co-Head count? I has my own radio. =P

im not the biggest fan of cosplay
i.e. i've never done it in the past 5 consecutive years that ive gone
but can i come just to see people and meet new friends? :)

Hey Can I bring some friends and also bring my flip camera and also my camera. Also If there is anything you want me to bring call me at 707-481-2469. I will bring as much as possible if you need anything.

Hey I have some friends coming with me if it ok. I have a friend name steve who will be Full hollow ichigo. I have a friend name Curtis who is going to be Miroku from Inuyasha. I have to other friend who will be village people. Remember call me if ne one needs anything.

I might attend as long as nothing comes up. I don't know which cosplay yet as I need to see what I finish or which one I want to dress as. Maybe my Erza (fairy tail) if its done.

OMG! Its getting close to May 7th. I cant hardly wait for this. I wanna meet new people who have the same interest as me. I was wondering some? When I asked if i could bring a weapon, I was wondering my actual sword or can I bring my bamboo sword (the sword they use in kendo)?

If the sword has an actual blade, then I wouldn't bring it. Usually props are the only thing allowed at gatherings.

Haven't been to a gathering before, so I'm interested on checking this out :) I'll most likely be cosplaying as a Pikachu and I'll be bringing snacks/drinks and portable speakers for ipods and what not.

I wouldn't mind trying to attend this is work allowed for it.  We'll see what I get scheduled, dun care to push my luck already asking for fanime and anime expo off.  Not sure if I'll cosplay or not, we'll see how sassy I feel

Dam I really wanna go....but i got work(.=_=.) Sux. Plus I gotta go the J-Town(SF) the early the day after for a party and to take part in the Pho Challenge anyway.

That was a fun event sorry that my allergies were acting up. I enjoyed the fun time we all had.
