Title: Child admission questions
Post by: kikyokyoyahibari on April 26, 2011, 05:10:29 PM
According to my mom, who has gone to the Fanime Con with me for the past two years, she said that there's a free ticket thing for kids, so she and I are wondering how old do you have to be to pay a ticket? Say, I've got a younger sister who's 11, does she have to buy a ticket? Or, I've got a second cousin who's six now, does she have to buy a ticket? ???

Someone, please give me an answer!? I'm desperate!  :(

I've got a 6 year old second cousin who's going to come with me to the con. I've found out that I should be getting a special child's badge for her. Where and how should I get it?

Somebody, help me!  :(

I'm 17 and I'm going to be taking my 6 year old cousin. Do I count as a guardian since I'm already registering to get an Realy-reg ticket?

P.S. I know I'm going on and on with new topics, but bear with me cuz I don't know where the 'Add-in-comment' button on each topic is, so I'm doing this.

I'm pretty such that even then you have to have ID.

The registration FAQ (http://www.fanime.com/registration-faq/) are an excellent place to get your questions answered.

QuoteQ: Are kids 10 and under free?
A: Yes, kids 10 and under are free. However, you would need to register them at-con to get their child badge. There MUST be a registered parent/guardian with them at all times.

So the 6 year old can get in free with an at-con pass (meaning you buy it at the convention). If you are the person who will be watching the child, and you are registered, then I would say you count as a guardian.

If you do not find an answer to your questions on the FAQ, it is a good idea to email registrationATfanimeDOTcom. Be patient while waiting for a response there, though, because they have many emails to go through.

Also, there is a REPLY button at the bottom and top of the thread. Hit that to reply to threads rather than creating a new one. If you're still stuck, just hit "QUOTE" at the top right of someone's post, and delete all the writing in the text box before writing your response.
