Alright, so talking on Pokemon forums, We've decided maybe we should do a picnic. So this is to recruit people. Mostly I want POKEMON COSPLAYERS, but any other cosplayer or non-cosplayer will do.

Fanime might be taking group pictures during the Event this year. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.

MP: Im thinking the Park across the street. Lotsa room :D

I've got Magma grunt friends really interested in attending, the only problem being that they're working as Rovers. Since we'll be doing this most likely during their shift, I'll gladly help with picture-taking.

And I'm up for bringing sandwiches, as I said in our official gathering thread; once we've decided on a day/time (maybe post-gathering? Like... later that afternoon? - Mostly so I have time to make 'em), I'll ask everyone participating what they want (I'm not exactly Subway, but I do try to live up to expectations).

If I can manage, I'll also bring some paper plates.

well i would like to attend, jus need to know what time. i will have my Dawn costume, my husband will be Ash ketchum and our daughter will be squirtle. i could try to bring something. saturday would be good, and the park sounds great

I hope so too :D I dunno how big this will be, but oh well xD Once We get a few more people posting here saying they will go, we can figure the time then I can make this offical. I dont really wanna make it offical unless I know people will come and I gotta figure out how to make an event. For both my gathierngs >__> Im a lost child. Haha :D

Oops! I totally forgot. Everyone, Im unable to do the picnic on Sunday at 11 to probably like 3:30ish. So ignore the times of that. That is my Alice In Wonderland gathering o.o

I voted for Staurday 3/5-ish. Should give me plenty of time after the gathering to make any sandwiches needed.

Since my sandwiches were also requested my hotel-roomies, we've talked about what options there will be. Anything with an asterisk (*) after it is only a possible option:

Bread:
Wheat (No other options. Besides, whole wheat is healthier!)

Meat:
Turkey
Ham
Roast beef*, chicken*, pastrami*

Condiments:
Mayo
Mustard: honey mustard, brown, yellow/plain*

Veg:
Lettuce
Pickles*

Cheese:
Cheddar
American*
Monterey Jack*
Pepper Jack*

So if you're thinking of getting a Scooby-Doo style sandwich, those are your options. I'll be carrying a pen & notepad with me to take down orders at the Gathering. So just look for Whitney (I'm... pretty sure I'm the only one?) or Miltank (I'm fairly certain she'll be the only one), and tell us if you want a sandwich. If you find Miltank... I'm probably not far off.

Magma Leader and I will be there. Good to see the grunts will be at the picnic too.

Chesid, you are amazing :) Haha xD If no one offers to buy drinks, Im gonna get a ton of 2-liter sodas and cups too plus the chocolate.  I say we meet at the park near the snake statue or the "giant poo" to some people, and have a nice picnic at the park and maybe when people are bored, they can ask other cosplayers for cosplay battle pictures. How does that sound?

Plus Everyone, Im gonna say this on both threads. Do NOT be afraid to talk to me. I dont bite and if you have ideas, I'd LOVE to hear them ^___^ I listen and do almost every idea given to me. Plus I've made friends in these gatherings before and thats fun.

Um. >___> On another note, Since this is an event, Im gonna have to figure out how to make it offical. Fudge. thats gonna be hard for my attention span.

I voted 3-5, my boyfriend is supposed to meet up with some friends that he plays TF2 with- and requires a costume change right after the meetup and I think he's supposed to have lunch with those people. So I'd much rather have it on Saturday 3-5 or sometime on Monday. I might not eat a lot if it's on 3-5 Saturday because of lunch and what not- but I'll bring something for everyone to share. Maybe I'll make my sushi and maki rice crispy treats- I don't know yet.

Anyway I'll be attending as Joltik of course.
My boyfriend- I don't know if he'll attend or not or if he'll be cosplaying his pokemon at that time. Lol he does decide to come he'll either be Duskull again or Sniper from TF2. XD

On this, about 10. But who knows about the gathering. 20ish should be perfect.

I'm bringing a box of cheese-it mix type stuff.
I was originally going to bring something else but I live too far away to go back and forth between the convention and home- sooooo yeah, otherwise the treats wouldn't be good to eat imo.
So I hope this will surfice. They're yummy at least. ;)
