So im planning to take BART to get to the Freemont station. From there I heard you have to take a bus and from what i found it says i need to take a bus called the VTA 180 to get to San Jose.
I'm not positive if that's true so if any one knows can you tell me if it is?
thanks so much~
Where in the BART network do you get on? There appears to be two options of getting from the BART to SJCC. Both involve two connections.
1. BART to Fremont. Change to VTA bus route 180, ride to last stop (Great Mall Transit Station). Change to Alum Rock–Santa Teresa line (light rail), ride towards Santa Teresa and get off at Convention Center stop.
2. BART to Millbrae. Change to Caltrain, ride to San José Diridon station. Change to Mountain View–Winchester line (light rail), ride towards Mountain View and get off at Convention Center stop.

Well I was going to go from Bay Fair to the Freemon line at BART then from there take the bus. I'm thinking of going on a Saturday so far so would the bus route be the same for saturday then?
No idea. I'm not local.
I only knew about the Millbrae/Caltrain option because I was looking at having to fly into SFO and so needed to work out how to get from SFO to San Jose. I found out about the Fremont/VTA option in about 5 minutes of google and wiki searching based on the 'Fremont' and 'VTA 180' comments in your post.
Try looking it up on the VTA site.

511.org is a great site to plan your trip
You probably want to take the 181 bus because it's a more direct route (no transfer at Milpitas).

Yes, from Fremont BART station, take bus 181 into downtown San Jose.
From there, just walk 1-2 blocks and you'll be at the convention center.
Check the links in the post above for details.
Thank you for the help everyone!
~~ I feel a bit better now not as panicked lol ^0^
