The FAQ on the site says the pre-registration badges can only be picked up with government issued IDs, but I lost my state ID and my passport is expired. The DMV swears a replacement ID will arrive within the next sixty days, but since there's less than two weeks, I'm afraid to pre-register, in case I can't pick up my badge when I get there.
I have a photocopy of the lost ID, and a ton of non-government IDs showing the actual government ones are really mine.
What's the best way to handle this? Should I register anyways and then try to pick it up, or do I just register when I get there? If I can't pick it up, will I end up having to pay double?
