This is my first time hosting a gathering so please be nice. My friend lovelessneko will be assisting me with the gathering. If you have any questions please post and I or my friend will answer to the best of out ability. Also, I hope everyone is ok with the photography line up.


Fanime will be taking group pictures during the Gathering/Event this year. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.

I might suggest Saturday since that usually the high traffic days. (Yay! I'll be Moriarty so might wanna catch you to take some pics.)

Ah very good, Saturday I do have another gathering to attend but if you like we can exchange some form of contact information, DA/AIM or such. In case we cannot attend the gathering, I'm 99.99% I'll be in Sherlock at the swap meet on Thursday.

are non-superwholock cosplayers permitted to get in on the fun? i have a buddy cosplaying castiel and i'd like to look upon that angel of the lord.

Also, I attempted to make a small Sherlock gathering on Facebook but it appears that it is not as getting as much publicity as I hoped for. Is it okay if I can piggyback the Sherlock gathering with this gathering? I can change the event into a SuperWhoLock gathering if you'd like.

Boyfriend and I joined.

I can go as Fem!Moran (Sherlock), Watson (normal or Nightmare Before Sherlock), or Fem!Dean. I would prefer Saturday, if that counts for anything.

I think I might have to go ahead and try and cosplay someone (as thankfully everyone from SuperWhoLock is rather easy to closet cosplay)! Most definitely coming to the meet, even if I'm only able to walk around in either Black Widow (depending on the day) or street clothes.

This isn't my event, but I think piggybacking on the SuperWhoLock gathering is a good idea.
I still haven't decided if I'm going to cosplay Fem!arty on Saturday, but I might stop by anyways. I may bring a Cas and Dean along with me.

Has the creator of this event set a specific time and date yet? I already informed the people on the Facebook event that we're following the plans on this thread. Hopefully he/she can set a time and day before other gatherings take a desired time slot.

Waiting on when this gathering will be.

But if it works out, planning to bring Sherlock and kid sister will be Watson.

I suggest Sunday at 11am for the gathering.

So my dearest friend (the creator of this thread) has yet to decide which day or time. I shall be helping out with planning the gathering, so suggestion of day and time would be wonderful. So far there's Sunday at 11am.

Unfortunately no. Though it will be on Sunday at 11am if people don't put their input. Fanime is drawing near and I would like to see this gathering happen along with my friend who is hosting.

I must come and take pics! I love sam and Castial. So I hug every Sam I see, if I had more time I would cosplay but I will stick to photos for now. Mabye if this gathering happens next year than I will cosplay. Can't wait to see all the awesome  supernatural cosplays. ;D

I think around noon would be nice since the Harry Potter gathering is at 10 and I don't want to rush back into the hotel and change.

we would have to move the location of the gathering since the Marvel/DC gathering will be at there. And it would be rude to have to fight for it since they booked it first. We might be able to push it to another time if everyone agrees on it and my friend says it's ok to.

Well Jack /is/ my go to cosplay. So I'll definitely do him. Maybe do the Master later. Also is we could avoid the Kuroshitsuji, Final Fantasy, and Trinity Blood gatherings you can hug me all you want. XD

If it becomes 1pm I cannot go nor can the bf. I am part of Cafe V so I will be there 1-3pm 11am or noon is do able but 1 is impossible for us.

Ok I'm am considering moving the gathering to 12pm at Rukia's request. I want to know if anyone else has any other suggestions by tomorrow because I want to get this confirm and ready to go. I want to keep this on Sunday though so please try to sticking with just time changes.

Ok you guys since I didn't hear from anyone else Its officially going to be at on Sunday at 11:30am at the Flowerbed in Front Convention Entrance Marriott Side. Hope to see you guys there!

Yay! Jack gets to stop and smell the flowers. And at some point the Master will come along and pull them all up and eat them, or anyone who might complain.

I am for sure cosplaying as Eleven and Kitty Riley, and if I can get my stuff in time I might squeeze in Castiel. The thing is, I have no cosplay partners/groups and I'm going to be at Fanime largely by myself, so if anyone is willing to have me tag along let me know!   ;D

You're welcome to tag along with me. I come all the way from Ohio so any friend is cool. I'm doing Jack or End of Time Master, I may do End of time cut up Ten if someone wants.

Ummm... and as I am not familiar with the con-space... where exactly is the flowerbeds on the Mariott side?  Is that kinda where the fountain used to be in the front?

A little annoyed that the gathering started before the specified time, meaning I probably missed a lot of it since I showed up at 11:25, but I still enjoyed myself nonetheless. :)

THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!! This was such a huge success and I know that I had a great time! I will defiantly be doing this again next year but I will be getting a much bigger space in which to do it XD Thank you guys again for making this year's fanime one of my favorites!

Really disappointed by the fact that while trying to find the gathering, we apparently missed almost the entire thing even though we were not that late. Also there seemed to be the most focus on Doctor Who and hardly any on Sherlock, but that might have just been our lateness. I'd love to do this again but since it ended up being so big I think there should be some better organizing next time. I wanted to love this gathering, but I was ultimately left kind of bummed. I was really surprised to see so many people show up though, everyone looked awesome :D

I think that Doctor Who should have their own gathering because it was so huge and mostly consist of Doctor Who.

We actually didn't take any photos until the start time. And we waited to move to a different location until then as well. I got there a little early but there was already a huge group there. I know what you mean! But luckily they tried to wait for the others to arrive. I guess note for future (for me too) is to arrive to gatherings early!

Anyone know where the photos for this will be posted? :D
