Hello everyone, I'm your new Durarara!! gathering host.

I decided on Friday because that's the day I originally planned on cosplaying from Durarara!!, the gathering would be in the evening if Friday sticks. If the majority of you all can't make it on Friday we can change the day, so let me know if Friday is convenient! (:

I'm so excited for the Durarara!! gathering! I was scared there might have not been one. xD

I'll be going as female!Izaya/Kanra or Aoba Kuronuma.

I'm also bringing a group with me consisting of the following:

female!Shizuo or Erika Karisawa
Shizuo
Izaya
Kida Masaomi
...and possibly a Mikado.

But I was wondering...is it too late to change the time of the gathering to Saturday maybe? 5 PM on Friday interferes with another gathering I'm going to, and we are all coming from out of town so checking in will take a little longer than we'd like. There's also the fact that we get out of school at 3 PM, and live a couple hours away. ><

I really hope to make it to this gathering. Unfortunately, I missed last year's and I was so bummed out about that. xD

I don't think Saturday can work, major gatherings are on that day. D8 I'll see if I can make work somehow, but the chances aren't high.

TT^TT Boo!! The vocaloid gathering is as 6pm. There is no way I can make it to either if I tried. >< must choose one.
But if I do make it, I'll be cosplaying Izaya!

I'm going to both. xD;
Gatherings are only 30 minutes long, so I chose a simple Vocaloid cosplay to change into to so I could make it on time.

I'll try to bring back Celty this year. Put me down as a maybe for now, I suppose. :)

Hey! I ended up showing up after all. I was the Celty with the painted neck (I guess that's pretty much the only way to tell me apart). My friend was the only Anri there, and I was usually standing next to her.

I know that Shizuo and she was able to find her camera an hour later or so at the lost and found :)

If there is a gathering, may just come as Izaya and drag my friend who going to do Shizuo this year. I'm making him a street sign at any rate, and might be fun to cosplay from the same series together.

My friends and I are planning to do Anri, Mikado, and Kida all in their everyday clothing (: (Though our Anri cosplayer is a bit wishy washy since she said she was going to do it last year and didn't... But Mikado and Kida will be there for sure again xD)

Hey guys!

For the last time, I'll be changing my character. xD; I'll be hosting as Shizuko (the genderbent Shizuo), though I myself have decided not to participate in posing for photos so I can focus on taking photos for the gathering. Like I said early, the gathering is 100% going to be on Friday again this year! This time is still undecided as I'm making sure it doesn't conflict with the Vocaloid gathering. As for the actual location, I was considering the "Fallout Zone" which is the construction/new buildings area since Durarara!! is located in a city I figured it would be befitting and less likely for us to interfere with gatherings since I doubt many hosts will choose this location. If not the "Fallout Zone", then chances are it'll be by the Marriott Side once again (or maybe even in-doors).

Anyway, now that we're in the month of April I was start listing attendees (I didn't before since most people weren't confirmed), so if you're pretty sure you're attending let me know!

I will definitely be attending as Mika on Friday, given that my wig arrives on time.

Gathering confirmed for Friday at 6PM at the G9 location (outside, construction area)!

Just to let y'all know that if we don't reach around 15 or so attendees, I may end up cancelling it. We only have 3 - 5 people attending so far, which would probably only take us five minutes to shoot... So if we don't have a steady number a week or so beforehand, I'll probably message BSaphire. :( I wouldn't want to take a slot and inconvenience any other gatherings if we won't even have a good attendance...

I guess I can bump that number up a bit. My boyfriend (chanocular on the forums) will be attending as Shinra, my friend and hopefully her boyfriend will be Anri and Izaya. So that's an additional 2-3 people.

My friend and I are for sure going as Mikado and Anri, and I'm trying to convince someone to go as our Kida. So you can at least count 2 people in.

1st off.. There is no way I'm gonna take Durarara off the list :P There are lots of 1st time cospeeps who cosplay this and I wouldn't want them to be left out! :) So 4 cospeeps is just fine!

However... if this grows really big you guys may have to move cause the G9 location has become smaller due to the construction stuff.

So... Fill out your photo order as though you expect twenty to show and if it is only the 5 - 10 of you you guys will have more time for fun random shots! XD & then make sure Olivine that you post you Confirmation info on the Official Gatherings List thread.

hey, I'm really sorry that I wasn't able to make it to the meet-up on Friday. I was in line getting my badge at the time. I still cosplayed as Mika Harima on Fri, Sat, and today though! hope the meetup went well  :)

Thank you to everyone who attended the gathering!

Some of you may have noticed that I myself was not able to host the gathering in the end, due to some unfortunate circumstances I didn't even attend Fanime itself, and for that I am very sorry. A close friend of mine hosted it and I'm sure she did a lovely job.

On another note, I will be stepping down as host for next year. Unfortunately I do not see myself cosplaying from Durarara!! anytime soon, so I do not feel fit to host any longer. I hope someone steps up and if any of you do, I'm more than willing to answer any questions if you have them.
