Thats cool, but dose this tread have apoint? :? Well Vash is a non-violent gun slinger who lives on the plante Gunsmoke, he has an evil brother or some thing like that who is after killing the people of Gunsmoke. Anyone want to add.
Sure, but actually, in the first makin of Trigun Vash was supposed to be the evil brother, while he other brother (Knives) was supposed to be the evil one...But in the end they decided Vash should stay good.
Vash is a hottie, why not make a thread about him? He'd be in my top list if it wasn't for that whole western theme. :roll: Off-Topic as it is, my anime obsession is Tidus for FFX, VERY adorable. ^_^ Luckily for you, lots of guys cosplay as Vash at Cons, you'll be seeing some this year, I'm sure.

Well for the first half of Trigun he acts like he ins't Vash, by the eating of donuts and crying "Love and Peace," he can't be the $60,000,000,000 man. However he is and the way he dose it, I want to watch it again, will they make another series?
It would be pretty cool if they did an after-series movie with lots of action and doughnuts.
An after-series movie would be hard though! Now, if they re-did it with the same actors but followed more of the Maximum storyline, that'd be awesome.....

i hella enjoy trigun. i lose a lot of sleep over staying up late to watch that and inuyasha. but i do have a question. i saw a poster a few days ago where vash has a robotic left arm i bolieve it was. does something happen to him im not aware of?

i'd say my favorite characters are Milly and Wolfwood.
Milly: she's hilarious and loves choclate pudding.

I think that trigun is awsome and i heard from some guys who worked at electronics botique that they will be making a new series of trigun. My favorite character is wolfwood cause he is just like any of us i mean i would of shot the kid that was pointing a gun at vash too u know the gunhoe gun who pretended to be a little kid.
Oddly enough, I love this anime as well! And I usually have a thing against westerns(live-action mostly), but an anime that's a western AND FUTURISTIC!?!? XD What an odd combo, but it works!

My fav chars are Vash (of course), Wolfwood and Legato...
You can't beat a western in space! Which is also why I love Firefly!
I really enjoyed the manga as well.. since the plot is slightly different you get more! Plus it explains alot about really tiny random details... delves much deeper into whole theory of the plants and how Vash and Knives, for lack of a better term, "work". Kinda creepy how Legato becomes the psycho-in-a-box... go figure.. that's the one thing I can't figure out... I keep re-reading the end of the second manga, but it's not entirely clear what Knives does to him, besides sorta scrunching him... </rant>

has anyone read the japanese manga? the characters are soo small. plus when its scribbled freehand, argh!
still, great anime, great story, and the crossplayers don't hurt...
he's not evil, just misunderstood...

I have only seen one episode of the anime, sadly enough. The character of Vash does seem pretty wicked cool though, and I would watch more of the series.
