So, I had a state ID when I registered but I can't find it. And I'm freaking out a little. I'm 18 so I can't do the parent/guardian thing and I have no other form of Government ID. I've emailed registration with my situation and I'm hoping they reply soon.
But I was wondering, is it possible to use a combination of Id cards to verify who I am. I have a school ID and I have a medical card, one connects my face and name and the other connects my name to my age. Would it be possible to use those to verify who I am to registration, or am I just screwed?
I think a parent/guardian can still vouch for you if you're over 18.
as always, the best thing to do is email registrationATfanimeDOTcom
Yeah. I emailed them yesterday before posting this. No reply yet, but it hasn't even been 24 hours. The website says the parent forms are specifically for minors, which won't work because I'm 18. I was mainly wondering if anyone knew if that ID combination I had suggested might work.
yah we get about 200-300 emails a day around this time, so it might take a while for our the 4 or so people answering emails.
Thanks
Yeah, I'm not in as big a rush to get the email, I know they've got to get through a lot.
So I read that I can't use my learner's permit as ID at badge pick-up but I can't find an answer as to why. Is there a reason it isn't accepted? As well I've heard that, despite what the FAQ says, they sometimes do accept School ID's. Would it be pointless for me to try the countless School ID's I have or is there a possibility of mercy?
We essentially take what an police officer would take. A permit is a valid form of photo ID, so we would take that. A school ID we would not.
