Heya. I want to do a Human form of Apple Jack from My Little Pony. And I need a bit of help. For one, as you may or may not know she has freckles. HOW do I make Freckles with makeup?
2. Would it look too hokey if I use a totally different type of cowgirl hat? I was thinking this one simply because I cannot find another.

This should probably go into the Cosplay Construction help thread that's permanently at the top, but as for the hat I would suggest trying either Natasha's Attic or Victoria's Dance. Both are in San Jose and near public transportation. Both of them have makeup as well. The easiest way to do freckles is to find a creme foundation a few shades darker than your skin and just use a brush to spot it on.
