I hope everything is going well. I know I can't wait till Fanime 2013! This year I will be co-hosting the 2013 fanime Hetalia gathering with the host of AnimefanJJ. I will be cosplaying Egypt.

Im going to talk to my Germany but depending on the day we might pull out Rome and Germania instead! Most likely we'll stay with me as France and her as Germany if she tags along to the gathering but if we can get what we want done we'll switch into ancients - we'll see how much Rome costume work I can get done using leftover bits from my Thorin Oakenshield cosplay to be :>
I may try to make it to the gathering. I'll be cosplaying Wang Yao/China :)
Possibly Iceland or Chess Norway depending on when it is and if I manage to get all the crap for the latter finished on time. ^^
Hmmm, missed last year's cause of my table. Hopefully I'll have one again and actually make the gathering. If I can, I'll be Cuba as I always am. Maybe even with a new outfit for a change! *hoping to do parade of nations outfit from the Olympics*

I'll be attending with a friend as Chess!Austria and Chess!Hungary. Hopefully we won't be the only Chess cosplayers there, but we're still excited to see all Hetalia cosplays anyway. This will be our first time attending Fanime and a gathering, so please be nice to us! lol

Due to technical difficulties I missed last year's gathering, though am optimistic that I will make it this year.

I think I'd prefer any but Saturday. Since I plan sincerely to get a table I don't want to wander away from it for an hour or more on one of the busiest days of the con for Artist Alley. And if it's on Friday I can show off my products! 8D Lol. You thinking to have a table at this con Demitria?

If the gathering is on Sunday, my friends and I will be there. I'll be Belarus in the purple dress and I'll have a Northern Italy military outfit, Hungary in orange skirt and black shirt outfit, and a Turkey in military outfit.
Our group is also planning on entering the Masquerade and performing a Hetalia skit there and we could use a few more people if anyone is interested.
We're looking for a Nothern Italy, Germany, and/or an America. In order to enter the masquerade we all have to have made our own costumes, so if you'd like to join us, we'd request that you have made your own outfit.
As the performance requires a waiver to be signed, being 18+ would be helpful as there wouldn't be the need to have a parent sign the form for you.

Well, I haven't made the cosplay, but I have everything for America, expect the wig.
Everyone seems to think Sunday is a good day but I would actually prefer Sat because there is many gatherings going like Homestuck that I would think other Hetalians might be going to. :-\ And there is always a lot more Hetalia fans and cosplayers on sat than there is on Sunday, so there will be a bigger turn out for the gathering. That is my opinion on this matter but I am far out numbered at the moment. :(

Mostly just curious, wantin' to see who all I might know in the Alley. And table reg didn't even go up yet, so there's still a chance at tables.

Fyi, my group of friends and I have decided to skip out on Fanime this year for various reasons. I'm a little bummed, but it's for the best in the long run!

i personally vote sunday since i'll already be in costume that day. my friends and mine all ages panel was accepted and is sunday 10-12 (were looking for people if anyones interested, check out the board in the panels section) and we're hoping the 18+ panel gets accepted as well soon.
If it does end up being Sunday, all I'll need to know is the time to know whether or not I will be attending.
@ ORGANIZER: Please update first post so that this gathering can be "Official." Also, this "was" a returning 60+ gathering, so please do your Submission Request via PM as soon as possible.

Alright folks, you all have to be patient with me. Sadly I am out of country for two weeks and this is the only time I will have wifi. I will not know the time of the gathering until we get a confirmation from fanime.
Also there was a suggestion of saturday and or sunday after the Hetalia panel.
What ever works, if it is on a Saturday I suggest we do it at 10am.
I am not the host, but co-hosting of this gathering, so it is really hard to tell you guys what is going on.
Don't panic HAP cospeeps! It's gonna happen... I'm in discussion on setting things up so please be patient... Don't need any countries going to war over this *giggle*

I would like to go as Fem!Canada. Also I am wondering about the time as well, there is suppose to be a Disney Gathering at 1:30(It may change because it's not official.) and I'd like to attend it. I just want to be sure of things, although if anything I'll most definitely attend the Hetalia Gathering.

What I'm curious about is it 2 to 2:30? Or is it just two times for us to use? That's the confusing part.
from the way I gather it's going from 2-3 basically. They were splitting gathering locations up for 30 mins where groups with larger numbers are given 2 of the 30 minute slots to allow for more picture taking.
So two times for us to use coolios, I hope that's why. It will make it longer yays!

Ah yes! Sorry for not being around folks. I am currently in Italy and have been for a few weeks now.
I will be back on time for fanime, but I can only go on for a hour a day. The cafes are a bit expensive here.
But that is the plan, we have a set photoshooting set as well.
More information will be posted on the main post on page 1 when I get back to the states on the 17th.

Right now, I'm making a 2P! Fem!England cospay, so hopefully the wig will come in soon and I can finish the dress in time! (I have faith!)
I am a bit nervous since this is only my second con and first gathering, so I don't know what to expect, but I'm sure I'll have fun! Also, I think I might take drag a friend too, so hopefully he could be 2p!Japan or just Japan (if we can make the cosplay fast enough).
