I plan to preregister for Fanime 2014 so I can pick up on Thursday. Do I have to pick up the badge from the convention center if I want to pick up Thursday or can I pick it up from Clockwork Alchemy?
you can chose where to pick it up on day 0. there will be an option to chose either Fanime or Clockwork.
The website says you can pick where you want to pick it up, but it was also said somewhere (might be on these forums) that if you want to pick up a Fanime badge at Clockwork you might not get it...
I also would love a clear and definitive answer on this. The best I got was from the Fanime Facebook page where they said "Clockwork Alchemy registration hours should be synced up with the FanimeCon registration hours." However, I still can't help but feel a little nervous about it (I think it's that "should be" part). I would still rather pick up my badge Friday at Clockwork Alchemy then Thursday at Fanime (my poor little footsies), but I REALLY don't want to go all the way to the DoubleTree on Thursday only to be told "oops, come back tomorrow".

If you have marked FanimeCon as your convention before selecting Clockwork Alchemy as your pickup location, we will try to get you a FanimeCon badge. However, we are still working on things logistically and this may turn out not to be the case so be prepared to be surprised! :-X
We will attempt to have FanimeCon registrants who set their pickup location to Clockwork Alchemy the FanimeCon badge.
It was either someone who worked with reg here or the person in charge of the Facebook page who said that they will post up registration hours when it's close to Fanime for both locations, including for Day Zero. So hopefully we could pick our badges at the Clockwork Alchemy on Thursday!
I'm not really worried about the design. In the past I've pre-registered and they lost my badge, I had to have a paper one!
The thing I really have a question about is if I can pick up on Thursday at Clockwork Alchemy, I'd like to know pretty soon so I can preregister and decide where to put for pick up.

You can change it after you register.
Yep. I went and checked. Just click to Revise your Registration, and it has a place where you can change whether you pick up at Fanime or Clockwork Alchemy.
