thought i would post a tip for those who had some difficulty with accidentally getting double charged. another option is that most banks when they see proof in ur account of a double charge will go ahead and remove that charge from your account.
so if u had any issues with double charges and had any trouble getting a hold of someone thru email or phone you can also talk to your bank and they should be able to remove that accidental double charge right away.
hope this helps ppl
also try to go into a bank that KNOWS you the most!..
last time i tried this on a different bank.. they were "powerless to help!"

You're kind of limited to the bank you used to pay with...
most banks should be good about refunds but yeah you have to use the bank you paid for your tix with so they can look up your transactions.
For your information, we do track chargebacks and keep records on who has performed such actions.

I'm glad you're monitoring these chargebacks. I was worried that people would see this advice for a chargeback and immediately jump on it for a "refund" of their intentionally-purchased badge (meaning, not accidentally double charged, but a badge they bought and decided they didn't want for whatever reason). Chargebacks are meant as a last resort measure! This is in case of, for example, some person or business that is scamming you with unauthorized purchases or if you never received your purchased item (where the seller is at fault, not the buyer) and the other person is unwilling to settle the issue. It is a measure meant to protect consumers, not as a loophole. Using it as a way to get a refund on an intentionally-purchased badge which clearly stated that it was non-refundable is unethical and abusive to this type of consumer protection measure, not to mention abusive to Fanime's policies. If you're having issues, the problem should be addressed to Fanime staff, not by using a loophole that isn't even intended for this situation.
Again, if this wasn't clear, I'm referring to the potential people who will see this "advice" as a way to either A: score a free badge, or B: Get a "refund" on a clearly-stated non-refundable badge. I am not directing it toward people who were somehow double charged erroneously, although I'm willing to bet that the staff probably would help out in these situations.
personally i dont care if you guys monitor chargebacks. for valid double charges or overcharges its a valid and sometimes quicker option. i posted this advice purely for people in a similar situation cause if you actually had a double charge then your doing absolutely NOTHING wrong by seeking to get it correted.
if a person has been legitimately double charged or over charged then they have every right to seek out help. personally for me i couldnt get a hold of fanime staff, for a friend of mine she was told by staff that they could NOT refund a double charge. in both our cases the bank was the easiest option.
i dont think there is anything wrong with posting this as a suggestion. thanks.
