Hey there! So, last year there was a fun little unofficial gathering of Akatsuki no Yona cosplayers. I, unfortunately, couldn't finish my Yona cosplay in time, but that's not going to be the case this year. Is anyone interested in doing it again this year? And would you be interested in making it official?
I got into AkaYona last summer and would totally love to meet up with other cosplayers and fans! Gonna aim to make a Yun cosplay in time.
Also think it would be great to make this gathering official. I noticed there have been more fans since last May, and having it listed it through Fanime helps draw in more of us together. I already have plans to host a different gathering so if anyone else wants to take charge, go for it!
The unofficial gathering last time wasn't so bad, but an official one would definitely be better. I'm also trying to host another gathering as well, but I could always post the thread/Facebook event when I get the chance. Gotta leave for work in a few minutes, lol.
I wouldn't mind an AkaYona gathering on Friday because I was planning on debuting my Kija cosplay that I sewed by hand ;u;
Awesome! I can't guarantee the day, but I'll see about starting an official gathering thread when I go on lunch in a few hours.
I don't have a Yona cosplay (yet) and am unlikely to have one by Fanime this year. But I would love to stop by and see cosplays made by other fans. (I love this series so much ;D)
