Title: No Pass, can I still roam the lobby?

Last year I did not have a pass but was able to walk around in the lobby. Will I be able to do that again this year?

Nope, Fanime is requiring badges to access the second (main) floor of the convention center this year.

It's some new safety thing. As far as I can tell badge-less folks can still be on the first floor or outside the convention center, but if you want to go to the second floor you'll need a badge.
