:roll: How many of you have read the manga? Who enjoys it? Who would like to make 30 friends and make a cosplay group of all 31 of the students plus their teacher? Maybe it's too grand and too many girls to take on, but it would sure be a fun group! I could be Mana Tatsumiya! Or Fei Ku! Anyone else interested?

Okay, how about the topic at hand, Negima? *^_^* I really love the manga and I'd cosplay as some characters from it but to make it cool I'd have to have like 20 other friends play along too. I want the newest Negima for christmas, but knowing me I'll probably buy it long before then.

I love Negima!! Wouldn't mind joining, but all depends on the what other cosplay groups I will be joining.

Ive always been a pretty big fan of akumatsu's work, Its an awesome manga, I just recently got a tattoo of chibi Yue on my arm. But it would be interesting to see some cosplayers.

if you read the 4th Vol., you remeber they went on a field trip. Some of the girls went shopping, and I really like thier clothes, so trendy. :lol:

Go for the reddish color for Asuna. If you were to go a little too blond, you might come up with Negi's big sister.

I might cosplay Setsuna on the side of my Haruna cosplay. I may have a little Library Exploration group. :] Though if I'm cosplayin Setsuna, hopefully I can get a sword that doesn't break the rules... or any at all. >.>;

I already have the bells actually! I thought they'd be the hardest thing to find but they were actually only like a buck at Michaels.
I'm going as casual Asuna where she wears the baseball tee with "Peaceful Angel" written on it and the black skirt. I'll also have the fan but not the sword.
We also have a Negi and a Kotaro in our group as well. :D

He could try older Kotaro, though, which made appearances in Vol. 9 & Vol. 14.
Btw, does anyone know where I can purchase uniform skirts similar to Mahora's dress code? I may not have enough time to sew all the uniforms for my group, so at least the skirts can be taken care of.
Hey there! I'm a Negima manga fan as well! I'm SO INTERESTED in a cosplay group for it! I'd probably try to go as Chizuru since she's my favorite character. I keep thinking I shoudl try a dark-skinned character since I'm dark...but I'd rather go as a character who I love. I'm also willing to go as Konoko I guess, if there's a Setsuna around who needs one!

The other person I'd cosplay is Haruna; my friends and I will have a Library Exploration group. So both Saturday and Sunday is fine being that Konoka is also part of the Library Exploration group ^-^ [don't think I'll cosplay Friday, since it's right after school. At least, not Negima]

Oh I haven't heard that song yet! Or knew it existed :P It would be cool if we could get all 31 girls (if we got that many for the cosplay)...and we did "Happy! Material! Go!" hehe. If not at the masquearde, at least at karaoke, lol. actually now taht I think about it, that wouldnt' work for the karaoke...it would be like that wacky Mroning Musume clip I saw of htem karaoke-ing to their song "koko ni iruzee" and they had to keep passing the mic to a diff. member and since it's a fast song...some poeple woudlnt' even finish their lines. it was hilarious.
If all 31 girls came, we could have our own ameature Dai Mahorasai Negima concert. :P There's like.. 30 something songs the girls sing; 3 of them where all 31 can sing. x3 I hope to karaoke a Negima song or something, though. Hey, maybe we can sing Konoka & Secchan's duet song [Sei Naru Sora no Shita de]. :3

Personally, I'm debating if Sunday I'd be cosplaying, since I have another costume for Secchan... Actually, this may change again because I dunno if I want to carry a sword around for a half-day cosplay, lol.
I know there's an Asuna and Negi coming.. what's your input, guys?

BTW, I'll probably burn all the Negima songs' karaoke on a CD in case the Karaoke room's library doesn't carry the song. I'll have the romaji lyrics too. :wink:

Everyone meets in front of the fountains so it might actually be harder for us to find each other since we're a small group. Maybe if we met in the foyer and went outside for pictures it would be better.
Either day is good for me and the guys coming with me dressing up as Kotaro and Negi. I just need to know because I have other cosplays I'm doing.
Saturday was fun! Hopefully we can have an even bigger gathering next year. I'm aiming for bigger cosplays! :D
