Sorry to disappoint you, but the Japanese can pronounce "Joe" essentially the way it was intended as "jou."  It's doubtful that they'll pronounce it differently.

It's Real.  The same artwork, and some video clips were running at the Hasbro booth at Comic Con International this weekend.  Looks better than you might expect, but the vehicles are all C.G.
