I know most of you that the DVD rip of FF7:AC has been leaked on the net. Now, a fansub group has released a hardsubbed copy of the movie and you can get it here, at least to tie us over till november. I will be buying a copy of the DVD when it gets here, so don't call me a pirate. I'm just kinda impatient that's all :wink:
Hell yeah, I copped this movie on monday and I must say Im quite impressed. I too will be buying a copy when it is released. Plot line is a little weak if "sparse" to say the least but the action sequences were spectacular. Then again I got to watch mine with the help of s-video out and it had a better feel on my television.

I just finished watching it...
Only noticed two small clipping errors. (As opposed to at least 4 that I noticed last time I saw Shrek or Toy Story)

I have never seen Sephy-sama that damn beautiful before... I am never been happier to say that I own the Sephy-sama Wallscroll, both Advent Children, and the original FFVII...
There were a few plot issues... But those were mere technicalities... I'll worry about those later. ^_^

it was gorgeous! i loved it! as someone not toooo familiar with FF (don't shoot me! i grew up on Nintendo >_<) i was blown away by the animation! ga! just being able to see the threads in Cloud's sweater vest thingy was sooo awesome! and the texture of the leather >_< sooo great!
and yea the fight scenes were incredible too ^_~ loooved the end (wink wink nudge nudge for all you that have seen it already) i just loved how they did everything! and Kadaj! aa!! i was watching it and i totally recognized his voice! it's the guy who does the voice for Kirihara in Prince of Tennis and Shikamaru of Naruto fame. the voice actors/actresses they used were really top notch (omg..did i just say top notch?)
guh anyway, it was GREAT and definatly worth buying! ^_^ and this coming from a total Final Fantasty n00b.
I didn't find out that the US release was bumped back until the day before I was gonna go in to pick it up. -,-`
I think I just looked on Altavista for a couple minutes before I found the BT link for the fansubbed version. Took an hour to download. SOOOOOO happy. ^.~ Can't wait for the US release already.

The soundtrack to Advent Children has just been released in Japan.....although as much as i'd love to wait for it to come to the US along with the movie itself.....I just can't WAIT to snag a copy of One Winged Angel so I could start making a 'Sephiroth vs Akuma' mix! ^_^
Although i'd also need to download a music mixer as well...but that'll wait! ^^

same...dl watched it multiple times...already fully paid pre-order...cant say i dont support square-enix...i got all ps one and ps2 releases of FF so far except 11...played it on my friends account a very little bit...didnt want my soul to sucked away...

Saw it at No Name. Hope it makes the theatres.
Interstingly, many of the sequences reminded me of "old school" martial arts where the laws of physics were routinely ignored. (Not a bad thing.) I hope more of this stuff comes out -- maybe the American movie industry will learn at the box office how to make a video game film.
