While we've got a year until Fanime 2007, I'm rather curious to see what
people have in mind for their next round of costumes at the future con. I'll get the ball rolling:

Returning Costumes
* Bleach's Toushiro Hitsugaya (tentatively; the 25 pounds I lost since Fanime 2005 forced the retirement of my Edward Elric gear. Hopefully nothing major should impact Hitsugaya, but you never now ).

Possible Costumes
* Sakura Taisen/Wars' Captain Oogami Ichiro: I've been dying to do the Floral Division's Captain for ages and I might try to have a go at it.

* Escaflowne's Allen Schezar: Alright, I'll admit it; I have a thing for cravats.  8)

* Ghostbusters jumpsuit: If for no other reason than to screw with the Shinigami and other spirit cosplayers at the [presumed] 2007 Bleach gathering... :twisted:

* FMA military uniform: I have to retire Edward Elric, so it may be worth a shot.

Anybody else?

i should make polls on a few fourms to get a few opinions on what i shoudl do. it is really really close between utakata and bodaiju. :O

I want to get an Organization coat done so I can be Riku, Marluxia, and maybe even Axel.

2007 is a long ways away, so i dont even know what i will have for then. i'll probably bring Grave and Ky again, and hopefully something new for fanime as well.

The only work for my Kuroro will be waiting for the hair to grow and my auburn/golden orange hair to fade out... EW it's now RED and not orange anymore

No earrings for me, I'll need a white bandana/headband thingy and a tux and that'll be about it =D

Oh and a volume of HxH with kuroro on the front cover, maybe 8

Whatever I plan for next year will be forgotten about by then and replaced with new costumes.

How can people plan so far ahead? I don't know what I'll wear tomorrow...

My Ayame (Tenchu Kurenai) cosplay will be returning next year but will be refined so it stops giving me wardrobe malfunctions. My RO assassin costume might also come back as well. I wore that one in 2005.

My friends and I are thinking of doing a group cosplay for Air Gear. We might be rolling around in blades next year and... yeah  :lol:

On a side note.  Our 2006 Trigun meeting had in the neighborhood of 12-15 people attend.  However about 80% of them were Vash, not a problem.  But we need more people, we need Milly(s) and Merly(s) as well as Gung Ho Guns members, please take that into consideration when planning for 2007, thank you!!

Ahhhh, you'll have to find me and my friend Fructose when you're either Sylphiel or Lina, we're going to be Xellos and Filia! (And were you the Taikoubou a couple of years back, like in 2004? I loved your costume, and I think you were the first cosplayer I ever took a picture of! [If we already talked about this and I forgot, I'm sorry. It's so hard to keep track of who I talk to and my brain is really going...sigh.])

It was my first time doing Taikoubou this year and my first time making a costume myself.  So thanks ^_^ glad ya liked it, I was getting worried the closer that Fanime got cause i didnt really try on the whole costume before then.

And I'll be sure to look out for you guys next year ^_^ That'll be so awesome to see other Slayers characters there! :)

xD This'll be my first time making an ornate costume such as Arshtat's. There's alot of cloth dangling off that woman. I'm not too sure about Duolon because it may be too much work on top of my workload.

i'm gonna work on getting my heartless shadow costume better and i'll try to get a whiteboard instead of a piece of paper.

I'm gonna wear a totally custom made Malificant costume...hey, I played kingdom hearts like ten times just to see her! That and I bawled when I had to kill her. She is my all time fave character EVER.

I am working on sketches of how I want the outfit to be like, that and I am collecting medievil dress/gown patterns as well. I've picked out fabric already too.

That and I'll probably make a costume invovling peacock feathered wings. I just need to figure out how I want them to look...and what i want to be. lol suggestions would be nice...lol

I tried out a Kantaro Ichinomiya (Tactics) at AX which I want to do at Fanime but the wig needs serious (SERIOUS) working.

My Shin (Pretear) outfit might be there next year since I didn't use it this year (wore it at AX and found a Himeno as the Plant Pretear to pose with! Neat!  :D  ).

I'm also committed to a pirate outfit since I started a thread on a gathering, either Arubida from One Piece or ...?

I'm also going to make a Nataku (Saiyuki) outfit.

I would love to do something with wings but I'm going to be helping some of my friends with their outfits and am
that close to overcommitting myself again!

I also want to have an evening outfit when I'm not at a gathering but I figure I've got time for that, optional.

Oh, just remembered, I'm also doing a Chouji (Naruto) outfit.  Yep, overcommitted.

I haven't started on any of these (except Nana). Some of them will be pricey so I may have to narrow it down.

I'm probably dressing as Dosu from Naruto for Anime North 2007 and going with a couple of friends. Or I may dress as a Person for gaiaonline. :P

It'll all depend on my boyfriend and me.  We do pairings.  So we'll decide on who we'll cosplay as the time gets closer.  However, suggestions are always taken into consideration.

Well, since I'm quite a bit of a cosplay newb, having dressed only in Kimonos for the past two Fanime's, branching out next year will be quite an affair. Pretty much, all of these are maybes, but some less than others.
