Heyas everybody! I was wondering if any of you guys would like to do a cosplay group for Rozen Maiden next year's Fanime? I might try to cosplay Suigintou and Jun next year. I would like to hear if any of you guys are willing to join? Please post here, thanks :D
I am so with you there. Souseiseki is probably a definite for me (I'll actually start on it this weekend). But we should try to get a least one of each of the Rozen Maidens...
On the side, if I feel like it, I could also try a Shirosaki...though it isn't as exiting as the others.
rozen maiden!! i want to do that!! i'll see if i can put it into my plans for other costumes. i'm going to do alot of Visual Kei next year so i might not be able to do Rozen Maiden. when the time comes closer, i'll tell you if i can or not!

How about for the gathering, inside the con, we sit down for tea?
At one of the tables or just a space we can find, how does that sound for the actual gathering?
I say it could be more convenient than meeting somewhere for a photo shoot...
I agree :3 but we would have to make an official list of whos going and stuff so we can see how many cups and stuff we need

I dont know the characters names, but I LOVE the outfit that is in your avatiar Ryu.... ( Might go for that one, or the main doll) Doug might do Jun's sister Nori... (because he has some sick school girl fetish)

If you want one that hardly is around...or in fact...isn't. Do a Kanaria (props if you get the violin or umbrella).
I have most of the Souseiseki, but with a current project that I am experimenting with....the Shirosaki might be more probable.

My friends and I are planing a huge Rozen Maiden group cosplay. We already have a Shinku, Hina Ichigo, Jun, Souseiseki, Suiseiseki, 2 Suigintous, Laplace no Ma and Kun Kun 'planned'. Originally one of the Suigintou cosplayers was going to be Barasuishou but then she changed her mind *sigh*. The only problem is a common one that comes with big groups is the fact that some people will eventually drop out. So, we're planning for a big group but we're not holding our breath. The for sure cosplayers are Shinku, Jun, Suiseiseki and Suigintou since those costumes are already ready... the rest we'll just have to wait and see. >:3
Oo~ Rozen Maiden cosplay! Just recently got into it and totally up for it!!
Me (and possibly my sister) might be Souseiseki and Suiseiseki, just cause their the twins in the group and it works for me and my sister. So if you guys need us in a group, we're, or mostly me, are totally up to it!!
hehe :D yay~ Rozen Maiden, hmm, I'll most likely have my Suigintou up there for Fanime. So depending on date, time, location I might try to be there for the gathering. =^^=
I plan on comming out as Jun. So if you guys need an extra one, you'll have one.

Depending on our schedule...I might make Chibi wear her Hina Ichigo for your gathering...while I take pics. I don't feel like finishing my Shinku this year. XD

Thanks for all of the replies. Well, this just popped into my head. we can do the photoshoot at cesar chavez park and then head off to the church that's in front of the tech museum(it's in the general vicinity) for the rest of the shoot. Since the dolls are gothic lolitas and what not, that could work there. If the majority doesn't like it, the backup plan would be in front of the fountain area. and I'm shooting this for either saturday or sunday in the early afternoon.
I'm just posting for the people who are still checking this thread, on the cosplay.com forums we have decided to have the gathering at 3:30 p.m on Saturday, the meeting place is outside the front entrance of the convention center.
