Hi, I know that this thread is unwanted, but I know that other people are dying to find it! Did anyone take pictures or film the game of "Smack the Pikachu" that was going on in the game room?

Please, I was inolved in that game and i'm dying to find pictures or videos of it! :shock:

Feel free, however, to delete and/or move this thread!

"Smack the Pikachu" reminds me of the Fanime Pinata games. Was there one this year? I forgot.

I wouldn't call it "Smack the Pikachu"; it was more "Pikachu Volleyball" than anything else. Just trying to clear that up.

I remember the group in the gaming hall playing that. I tried playing, but Pikachu never came. :] Maybe if I wish hard enough I can get a pikachu pinata or something for you guys full of japanese snacks. That may be more work than I'd like for safety reasons though, but it's an idea. o.o

Lol Yay! Glad i'm not the only one who remembers it! I plan on buying some kind of plushie to start my own game somewhere at Fanime. Maybe Akamaru.... :shock: -runs from kiba- I was just kidding!!!

EDIT: Yay! Thanks for the picture Monica, Hope you don't mind if I post them here ^^ There are only two but for those who didn't get to see it it's a look at what was going on in that corner of the game room. n_n

it was getting ripped apart...there was a video of us playing. Well a small portion anyways. But it was when one of my friends dived for it lol. Btw the filipino wit teh long hair was meh >.>

Oh yea, Hahahah, ah man that was fun while I played...I hope they come back next year.

I remember there was a huge crowd around the pikachu, it looked like 30+ people. Sadly I didn't participate in that one...

As I was sitting back in E-Gaming watching people do this and I thought it was pretty cute and funny. Of course my concern was "what if the Pikachu landed near us" so if anyone recalled the short asian guy asking people to move the people over, that was me.

I cannot give a definate answer right now, but there's a chance this may not be allowed to happen again, because of the potential for damage to gaming equipment and attendee "accidents". I stress the word chance right now, but I could inquire. This ain't a bad idea if someone did propose this as an actual idea and convinced otherwise =P

I have a video some where. I remember walking into the middle and saying "save the pikachu." Every one looked at me and went on with it.

I snapped some pictures, but they turned out to be extremely blurry v_v' Guess all the excitement got to me xD I asked for a Kirby plush for my birthday so we could play again, in case Pikachu didn't show up.. but never got it *sigh*

I'd love to play again, though xD Can't wait for this year ^^'

I know at one point I said "oh my the Pikachu is back" and I'll admit I felt like a bad person not stopping it. I think it was stopped for a reason, and for what it is, I do not know. I'm thinking safety reason and possibly will now be enforced for the future.
