Title: question about air soft gun

im going as spike from cowboy bebop and i have a airsoft gun since i looked in the rules about weapens for 06 it dident really menchion anything about them i was just wondering if its ok to bring it or if i should also dismantle it and and remove all the insides. it has a orange cap on it but i was just wondering                                                                        sorry if this topic was already made i did a quick search but couldent find anything on it. please help if you can thank you

Well it does say stuff about being seen at long distances. You might have to do more then paint the tip orange, depending on it's realism. It might help if it was clear or something else. I mean an orange tip is easily overlooked and you could get in BIG trouble if someone mistook your gun for a real one...

Last year, I had no problem with an Airsoft Sidearm. However, I did have it in a holser and had the Sidearm Peace-Bonded to the Holster. I think there might be a problem with Airsoft Shotguns, Assault Rifles, SMGs or anything that cannot be secured to prevent drawing it.

But I don't know what this year's rules may be. I'm neither an enforcer or legislator.

I've read in previous rules that "due to their realistic look, airsoft guns will not be allowed at Fanime", though I dunno if that rule will still exist for 2007. It did for past years.
