Me and my friends plan on dressing up as Fruits basket characters!
In doing this there are more than 3 of us (obiviously) so I figured a gathering was in order!!!!!!
Please post if you plan on a furuba cosplay and I'll add you to the list! (still making the list <3)

Planning for this to be on Monday the 28th in the lobby of the convention center at 12 noon.

I was wondering, is the gathering going to be all day, liek us all hanging out monday, or is it a few hours then a sepereate thing?o.o Cause if it's an all day thing I'm also going to be cosplaying as tohru xD I'll be kagura first then I'm changing into tohru the rest of the day=3

Generally gatherings last only 1 to 2 hours for hanging out getting aquainted and pictures.
Hanging out with people you don't know all day would seem like imposing on personal life....

I'm nto saying thsi for sure...but in a photoshoot someone stepped on my costume's skirt and ripped it (yes it's not long..how they did...I have no clue)

but you may want to put a 'maybe' next to Kagura. I may find time to fix it, probably will...but we'll see

ok. found out that it's not as bad as I thought it was. It's all fixed now.

I'll try and keep everything up to date

So, I should have knocked on wood in my last post.

Something did happen. Something that makes life entirely unbearable for me.

I injured my foot. While I'm all for dressing as Kagura, sans boots, it just wouldn't be the same. I'll still show up..but I can't physically wear her boots any longer due to surgery I've just had to have on my right foot.

I have a policy of cosplaying all the way...So it would probably be difficult for me to be ok with cosplaying her in other shoes. Perhaps in a year or so I can bring back Kagura. but for now, the costume is retired.

This means that the Kyo (EvilBunny) will also not be cosplaying.

I am also nearly positive that the Hatori shall not be coming either, as a result. Hey, we may show up in our other costumes tho! Just to take pictures of ya...

So look for us. Motoki, Makoto (me), and Rei (EvilBunny) from the PGSM live action. I'll be in a kimono, Evil Bunny in the priestess garb..and Motoki..well...as Motoki XD

I dunno how well the gathering will be but I'll keep it up... v_v

last year, I was planning to come as Toru. but that will have to wait till next year, I'll still come and take pictures though.

I'll be bringing tohru and my bf will wear his kyou on saturday night, but we might wear it on monday for the gathering depending on the time.

Time was already decided and put on the main gathering list that Bshapire has made.

However I'm thinking it should be a little bit earlier.... noon is a little late but it should be ok....

oh i didn't know, since the first page of this thread said, time is still being debated.

i think noon is fine, i'm glad it is at that time, because it gives me and my roomamates time to check out of our hotel, and then i can head over to the gathering. And i'm sure a lot of other people might be checking out as well.
