I just wanted to know what kind of hotel this was because I reserved a room there for me and three other friends. All comments welcome as I would like to know what to expect in advance.
Well, I don't know ABOUT the Hotel, but I can tell you the following:
-Its across the street from the Center for Performing Arts, where the Masquerade (sp?) will be held.
-Its right next to the Civic Auditorium
-Across the street from the Convention Center itself. XD

i've never personally stayed there, but i commute in the area to get to san jose state. unfortunately it's across from the Hilton, which makes it look kinda bad in comparison. hotels.com has useful pics and stuff, and the website of the hotel you're booking should always have pics of their rooms.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza last year, and I really liked it. The year before that I stayed at the Saint Claire, and comparing them..I like Crowne Plaza better.
From what I can remember (was a year ago, so..kinda blurry), the rooms are a lot nicer, very pretty bathroom..XD, and very convenient location. The staff is also pretty friendly.

Does anyone really know how the parking works for the hotel? I tried calling them a few times to ask how it works, and from what I got, it's not their garage, but you have the option of paying upfront or putting it on the hotel bill.
