Title: Hotel key question
Post by: Barnes on May 20, 2007, 11:30:11 PM
I put my reservation down as a "Single Person" "One Bed" deal. The reservation is in my name, but my mom let me use her credit card.
So I wanna know if, when I check into the Hilton and ask for an extra key, will they give it to me or not? Changing my reservation isn't really an option for me right now.

-If yes, that will help me alot, for my roomate.
-If not, I'll have to tell my roomate to cancel on me. I don't want to find out the hard way.

Thanks in advance.

I dont see any reason why they wouldnt. Last year I only registered for 2 people, my girl and I but requested 3 room key cards and they gave them to me without a second thought. I stayed at the Marriott but I dont think the policy for distributing room key cards could be drastically different. Ive been staying at the marriott for the past couple of years and its never been an issue.

I think if there was a vast majority in your request compared to your reservation listing, like 2 people and a request for 8 cards.

They shouldn't.

They'll ask you how many keys you need. The max they'll give you is 4 because that's the max. occupation of any of their rooms. If you tried to ask for like, 8 keys they'd say no way. 2 keys should be no problem at all.

I guess that makes sense. I only ONE extra key.

Thanks.
