Have you tried checking Ebay or maybe a comissioner site?  Try checking out Cosplaylab.com to see if anyone has done a Kon mascot costume.

Yeah, just ask if anyone would be willing to commission one for you.  A good one I saw  took them about 100 dollars to make.  You may be expecting a little bit more for labor... But, it can be negotiable. D:

Where did you see that one? Yeah i'm looking around cosplaylab.com for people that already made the outfit. I'm not sure which right person to ask to have one commisioned for me or where to ask the person lol. Should i just look for people that made the outfit and ask if they can make one for me?

That's pretty much one way of doing it.  There are two ways:

1) You search high and low for someone who is selling one (ALOT of work!)

2) You find someone who has done one, and ask (via e-mail) about whether or not they would commission one for you, or either sell theirs if they don't want it anymore.  Cosplaylab.com/Cosplay.com are ideal places to look, but yeah.

Just write saying that you really liked their cosplay, and that if they would be interested in doing a commission for you.  If it makes it any easier for you, you can also find on Cosplaylab.com for Commissioners, and it'll list some peope who would commission for you by city/state.  The shipping wouldn't be so bad then if it were someone near home.

I know my good friend h-chan on cosplaylab.com has made one, heh heh.  But, I'm not so sure if she could commish you one... Just don't be afraid and ask!

You can ask anyone who posted a costume and they may be able to give you leads. Cosplaylab.com has a tab called Proshop. There are many cosplayers which would take a commission. I know some in the bay area, and I also know a professional. It would depend on the person's experience and how well you like their work. Everyone charges differently, and depending on how much you want a Kon, you may have to pay a little more for a reallly good Kon ^_^ We're thinking of making a mascot kon or a Kon that is mostly enclosed. If I find anyone who wants the commision I will lead them here to the post! You might want to ask some of the bleach cosplayers as well!!

Good Luck!
