Howdy y'all.
This may seem like a bit of a strange request, but in accordance with a Skit idea currently in it's infancy, I was wondering if y'all could help me out. Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated.
What are some classic anime spoilers that center around a main character dying? (I suppose any similar game spoilers would be acceptable as well.) If they die at someone else's hand, who kills them? (For searching ease.)
Obviously, don't browse here if you're out of the loop and don't want your hopes dashed when everyone mentions L's death in Death Note.
Lastly, this is for a Masquerade skit with hopes to entertain, so it won't help much if it's from That One Series That Is So Underground You Must Be Lying If You Claim To Know About It And I Don't Know You So Die In A Fire. We aim for at least a few people out of a crowd to know who the hell that is supposed to be.
Oh, also, on a different note, what are some characters (again, at least mildly well-known.) who you would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to see die a HORRIBLE death? :D
Well... Kei-chan in Higurashi dies a lot. You can make it somewhat comical since he dies every 4 episodes.
To signify his rebirth, you could use a those tables ringers that you press to get service. Kill him, ring, kill him again, ring, kill him again, ring, Kei-chan gets fed up and leaves the stage, the rest of the actors talk amongst themselves what to do now --> character from a different anime walks on stage and attention switches to that character. The rest if up to you, but that's a quick idea. Ideally you hurt Kei-chan in humorous ways. Think of something unique and it might go a long way.

Mibuya who dies in Gunparade March from one of those alien things...
Celica who dies in Solty Rei after getting sniped by orders from Rose.....
Angelica who dies in Gunslinger Girl due to the extensive stress on her body..

Elenore from Madlax dies from getting shot
Ralph Werec dies in Strain, killed by his sister in the end..
Spike dies in CB killed by Vincent and vice versa..*duh*..-__-;
That girl (forgot name) who dies in episode (4 or 5?) of Fafner
I would like to comment it would be funny to see a pseudo-death of a main/semi-main character like Shizuru from Godannar or Mahoro from Mahoromatic.
yeah... other deaths in Anime are kinda either vague or not TOO big of a deal like Witchblade, Simoun.. etc etc..

heh maybe what you need is some of the more well known deaths and have other characters die that death instead.
e.g. Wolfwood doesn't die, instead Vash or Knives steps out from a doorway and gets killed instead. Whoopsie!
Or the 4th Hokage doesn't get killed by Orochimaru, but by Tsunade. errr. Never mind.

In 3x3 Eyes, Yakumo dies quite often since risking life in a fight is no problem due to him being immortal.

LOL. You're right. Suboshi gets killed by Tomahome. I just didn't mention everybody. That series is like a 30 hour long obituary. EVERYBODY dies. Gotta love the drama. :roll:
