see, in the tutorial, it shows how to make a pair out of rollerblades. im talking REAL, motorized ATs. I have the blur prints and everything, all i need is the money. ill be working on them right up to the day before fanime if i have to.
but if i get it done earlier, ill be sure to help others with the process.

By the way, aside from the rollerblade covers my Kazu costume is about 70% done, and my hair is just long enough.

Will they be aloud this year?
Asked this over on the cosplay.com forums, but has there been any decision made about when the gathering'll be? I'm just trying to sort out when I need to make it up to Fanime by, as we're driving up from southern Cali.
That said: assuming all goes well with my cunning plans to have Nue done (by Sakuracon, which means with time to spare for this), I fully intend to be there for the gathering.

Hm...i'm not really sure on that,but I do know that we can have skates outside the con. But I am still not sure whether or not we can go inside. I'll try to ask them and see. But I'll just put you on the list in the cosplay.com forums.

As long as my group doesn't decide to do anything other than Fruits Basket, I'll probably take this one(& Allen Walker-D.Gray-Man) because Agito/Akito=love. <3

Any new news for the Air Gear scene? I will be trying to cosplay Ikki. Currently watching the anime (not the best I've seen) just so I can get familiarized with the characters.

That's cool. It'd be nice to have some variety in our pics. Currently, I'm working on the ATs. I'm not going for the 2 wheel setup, but I want to make it so my blades look very similar to Ikki's (the grey/yellow/black).
Also, do any of the other Ikki cosplayers have any advice on the red jacket? I will be going as the rookie attire, before the team was formed. Feel free to email me.

Heheh, I was the same. I think these set of characters are pretty cool. For this year, I tried to stay away from the more popular anime series. There's just too many people cosplaying the same thing.

Where do you get 50 days from? I wish it was that little but at las wishes are meant for the stars!
If you go on fanime.com, there's a meter that lets you know how many days, hours, and minutes there are until fanime. Currently its at 53 days.

I count 80 (to the day I arrive), and the fanime counter says 82 days 10 hours and 43 mins. (give or take a few). What counter are you going from?

budds--That's not bad news. The more variety, the better the meet will be. We certainly don't want to have an Air Gear meeting with only Ikkis, Kazus, and Ringos. That would be uh...like the Naruto gatherings full of Narutos, Kakashis, and Sasukes. Don't get me wrong, I love Naruto, but it's getting to the point where the cosplay is overdone. So the gathering was pretty sexy, I was the Kogarasumaru Ikki with my fellow teamate Kazu. If anyone has pictures of us I would hug you to deaths for them or just a simple thank you O:
This year's Air Gear gathering was alright. Sadly, mostly half of the other air gear cosplayers never showed up. Sorry if the gathering was a bit unorganized, but hopefully next year will be even better! ^^ We can even think of things to do while we are still in the gathering. Pics will be coming soon.
