I'm curious on how this is going to play out, but with the DOA Movie, I'm keeping my expectations low. It's cheesecake for crying out loud lol :p
We already went over this a couple of times during a Melty session at SJSU, but here's how we dissected a summary. Underlines define one "strike".
"Tokyopop is going to make a live-action version of Ikkitousen billed as an adolescent comedy set on American college campuses."
Note how you can just get three strikes with the words "Tokyopop", "live-action", and "Ikkitousen", but no, they didn't stop there - they went further.
is it me or is everyone been jumping on the anime -> live action thing lately?
could anyone name a converted series of a live action thats actually good?
I'm actually curious to see whats decent out there... if at all possible?
The "You're Under Arrest" wasn't that bad. It was actually rather tolerable and kinda enjoyable.

The DOA movie hurt my soul, Im scarred but regardless of bad acting, scripting and action sequences, if the fanservice is there, they will come.

I liked the Hana Yori Dango live action. Plus there's the live action Sailor Moon that was pretty good.
