Title: Question
Post by: PenguinValentine on October 26, 2007, 10:33:03 AM
I want to know if there's any way to delete/cancel a registration.

I can't make the payment by the 31st, will it automatically delete/cancel it?

Why would you need to delete it? Far as I'm aware, if you don't pay by a price deadline, then the registration is still perfectly valid, your price just goes up. Your outstanding balance or whatever just increases, they use and keep the same information.

Wow, you reply fast. O.o

Well, delete it because I don't think I can go anymore...
Or, does it stay there and do nothing? I'm lost.

I have nothing better to do in the morning. :3

I'm not sure as to the whole deletion issue, but I know that at the very least, since you're unpaid, you won't actually be registered (AKA have a badge printed) come con time, so I can't see why anything bad would come of you just leaving it there unpaid.

im surprised that you'd be worried about not paying...

its not like evil ninja monkeys would raid your room for money...

altough that would be fun.

I'm surprised that besides paypal, check/Money order. it a pretty convenient way to pay.

so long as you pay eventually, i think things will be ok. and yes i have nothing better to do as well.  :P

Your account will eventually convert over to the next pay period (so instead of 'pre-reg @ xx' price, it'll be 'pre-reg @ yy' price, and eventually turn into an 'at-con' membership). Nothing happens if you don't pay.

I think that it's actually easier to *not* delete it as we wouldn't refuse your member number (if you were number 1000 and had your membership deleted, no one else would get 1000). ;)

I'm glad to hear that. Thanks!
