Last year, I was told by a staff member during the firday night rave that I have to regester my lightsaber. Then she gave me a purple zip-strip and I had to put it on my Lightsaber in-order for me to continue dancing. Now can I get those things at the registration booths, and say "Hey I have both a Lightsaber and a flag on a semi-long pole can I have 2 purple zip-strips?
Or do I have to "jump through some hoops" persay? And sign some stuff or show them the items?
Thanks
Registration? Hecks no, I would kill someone... No, I think what the staff member meant was that you have to get your Lightsaber peace-bonded. For that, you go to ConOps. This year, just ask a staff member/info booth where it is... otherwise, they're did some other thing I have never heard of last year. o.0
Okay, so I cpuld just walk around with Zeon flag and wait for a ConOp?
... Uh. Staff wouldn't really like that. I'd say to just avoid the hassle and right after you register, ask one of the Reg. members where Con Ops is and just get it peace-bonded then. It doesn't even take that long.
Right then.
Just a quick clarification. Rovers/Safety is in charge of peace-bonding weapons. But no need to worry. Safety's office is next to Con-Ops so it won't be too hard to find.
Info Desks will probably have a few peace bonding ties with them as well. I believe some Con-Ops staff are trained to peace bond, but it's preferred that you go see Rovers/Safety for peace bonding as they are the ones who are the most familiar with the Weapons Policy and can take the best measures to tag your weapon safely and properly.
Crap, safety. I gotta remember that. =.= Thanks, Shi. :3

Well my Flag pole/stick is not a weapon, it's just a bit long. I just hope I can get this done quick.
Then in that case, it may or may not need to get tagged. It would be a good idea to let Safety take a look at the flag pole and they can make the call from there. I'm sure you'll be allowed to carry it on the convention grounds though.

np :]
The pole will be a broom handel, will id be all right?
Since it's a prop, it's still subject to inspection(according to the weapons policy).
It should be okay, even if it's just a broom handle.
Okay
