Sorry if this is in the wrong section...
I think from previous years... If my memory serves me we use have music on the ConCourse (the main walkway areas of the Con) to play a sorta background or ambiance for the setting of Fanime.
Previous years they had random anime/J rock tracks and other times I think just general generic music.
Some years it was too loud, and other years the music was accidentally embedded into the minds of the Artist in their Alley.
So Rant aside, is there a way to vote for said background music? or are we getting rid of it all together?

There is (at the present time) to vote on which songs play. Generally we just fill up the iPod (yes, we use an iPod) with music and play the songs (on shuffle of course) throughout the con.

I liked how on Thursday, before the con was fully ready, I heard an 80s radio station while waiting for my badge. As for background music DURING the con, I don't really mind either way. I can barely hear it sometimes anyway. XD

This would fall under Programming, I'm not sure if this comes under Facilities or Live Programming, but one of them has the IPod that is used for the background music. I'm not sure how the selection process has worked in the past, normally one or two people select the music that we listen to.
If you have vote for specific selection of music, I would continue with this thread and post it.
