Just thought I would put it out there to see if there was enough interest out there for a panel like this to occur. If not than oh well. It was a fun idea in the mean time.
For the record (man, why do I feel like I need to defend myself every time I make a new topic or whatever. Oh I know, its from looking at other threads and seeing aggressive people tear things apart) I do not know who would run the panel. It was an idea I thought would be nice if such a panel could be arranged.
Voice acting. Perhaps those who are interested in the world of voice acting could learn a bit more about the profession. Some information it could include such as:
-How you become a voice actor
- What kind of training
-Demand of the job
-How auditions work
-Comparison of Japanese voice actors vs. American voice actors (such as demand, requirements, training, etc)
-maybe even some voice lessons or something of the like.
As I said, its an entertaining thought. I am not sure how plausible it actually is or if there is a genuine interest in such a panel.
^-^ We do have another thread here for someone who's planning to give a panel on male Seiyuu's... which is to say, male Japanese voice actors.
Sac-Con last July had an American voice actor give a panel on how to be a voice actor. I don't know if anyone knows anyone who works for Sac-Con but if someone wanted this to happen, that might be some place to start.
