Trainers, Pokemon, and battles. The more people who take part, the more fun you can have. I'm planning on going with my friend as a trainer/pokemon team. Will battle any other such team. This idea would also make a great skit, so anyone who is interested should line up under this post, or email me directly. (Wild pokemon may be caught!)

ill be going as Gijinka Hitmonlee. Im willing to be anyones pokemon, preferably someone who is cosplaying Brock, or some other rock/fighting type user.

I am most likely going to come as Commander Jupiter. She's sexy and has pink hair. My friend may possibly be my pokemon (though he refuses to dress up as mudkip, oh well  :P), and if others were willing to take part, we could have a battle. The more people join up, the more fun we could have battling. Ideas about how this could happen would be much appreciated.

Woot! I'm cosplaying as Ash in his Advanced Generation outfit! ;D (and maybe without his hat! :o )

I hope ta see some other Pokemon cosplayers there!

I won't go as squipsters because she has an unhealthy affinity for the creature. It was an abomination of Water/Ground. We will speak no more of the issue.

But! I do very much want to be a pokemon. I like the guy thinking about Hitmonlee, that'd be sick.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I dont want a field of Pikachu's, I'd like a lot more diversity. So all pokemon generations are of course welcome.

I'm feeling like a ghost or Psychic type pokemon. So right now I'm thinking Grumpig. (Super easy, though I suppose I'd be a very fit Grumpig. perhaps one of my rounder counterparts could do him better justice.)

Hypno and Duskull are also high on my list.

It should be an honor for you to be my Squipsters. But you will never fully understand his beauty I suppose. It is your loss alone.

If anyone has any awesome and/or easy ways of creating pokemon costumes, post them. It would be a great help to hear about other's ideas.

Also, not only a diversity of pokemon, but a diversity in trainers is necessary for this to be an awesome gathering. I would like to see some Team Magma, and Aqua, Galactic, etc.

I shall hopefully be there as Ash Ketchum in his original Kanto outfit from the first generation. I'll also bring a bunch of Poke plushies along for people to pose with. ^__^ Hopefully if a friend of mine comes down with the jacket for Ash, she'll hopefully be Misty alongside me. ^_^

As well, as the idea that we should strive to have Pokemon costumes outnumber Trainer costumes.

All pokemon generations welcome.

On top of all that, to give some good, easy pokemon ideas. Charmander, Squirtle, Bellsprout, Gengar, all easy bi-pedal pokemon that can be made easy enough looking good.

lol Though if someone wants to try out a gyrados or a Steelix, that would be awesome.

I'd like to say, if anyone really wants to make me happy (since it seems that that is no longer the task of my dear friend), they should come as my Squipsters aka Mudkip/Marshtomp/Swampert. Doing this may prove to be beneficial to you and your own happiness.

Moving on.

I would like some suggestions on how to efficiently and attractively put together an outfit for Commander Jupiter. Unfortunately, there are not many pictures of her online (This boggles my mind because she is one of the most attractive characters of Pokemon Diamond/Pearl), but she basically wears a silver spandex sex suit (I hope that alliteration pleases you all). If anyone has any suggestions for me, they would be greatly appreciated.

As would the affirmation of someone who wants to dress up as Squipsters...please?

I'm actually working on a cosplay that I was going to wear to the Pokemon League that I play in. If I can get everything together, I might show up as Flint (Diamond & Pearl Elite Four)

I'm going to be making either a Wailord, Victrybell or Gyrados gijinka cosplay, and my friends will be going as Marill, Milotic, Clafairy, and Pokemon Trainer from Brawl. =D

Hahaha no im kidding. I had actually seen in another post there will be an Empereon (the ice penguin thing) and someone dressed as Maye. Now, the person dressed as Maye said This Empoleon costume would be like a mascot sort of thing. All I can say is, Great googlie mooglie. I think the expectations just got a whole lot higher.  Hahaha so if you thought you'd be able to pull off a spiritomb with some facepaint and grey pants... Well Empoleon I expect shall pwn.

Time to step up the game.

More than that. Are we all looking to go in groups? (I.e. pokemon + trainer bands?) or shall wild pokemon be traversing the isles and be prepared to be captured by a tireless trainer? (Would treats be a viable reason to follow a new trainer?)

But, darn it, I'm not going as one! =(  I'll be going as Ash in his Ashley outfit. (Please tell me people remember that episode...) Unfortunately, I don't have any friends willing to dress up and be my Pokemon, so I'll have to catch one~! Anyway, having battles sounds like fun! I'm defiantly interested.

It seems to me that you all are a bit unclear on how this works. You see, it's awesome that you all want to take part and come dressed up, but without any wild pokemon to catch, coming as Ash (no matter which kind of Ash) is not going to be as fun as you think it will. I'm not trying to deter you from doing so, I'm only saying that you should try and get people to come with you, or at least get people to come, as pokemon. Also, we need some bad guys. Not to sound too juvenlie, but games are just so much more fun with bad guys. I hope to come as Commander Jupiter, as I've said before, but, you see, I've managed to come with an entourage of pokemon. If I don't see that more people are doing the same, I'm going to have to give up my sexy endeavor, and go as mudkip myself. And frankly, I don't think my partner in crime would be too pleased wit that idea. So, please, help out: get friends, or aquaintances, to come as pokemon, wild or part of a team. Thanks. And your costumes sound awesome.

After more prodding, I managed to convince my friend to go as my pokemon. Yay. But, I will be doing more than one cosplay, so what day is this going to be?

There are never too many days for pokemon. I don't think it has to be a specific day, you should come when ever you want to as such a thing!

I'm not sure you quite understand the idea of the standard gathering for cosplay. >_>

It's generally a set date, time, and location, so people can show up and chat, but from what I've seen it's mostly to take group photos, and to let the photographers show up to see people cosplaying as their favorite characters.

Since they're doing more than one cosplay, they were asking which day it would be, so they would know which day to wear the costume.

well ive been working on it for about 2 months now and its almots done
im going as a GIANT diglett, about 6' 10" so it will be hard to not see me >>
(also i will be a real diglett ,not a humanoid one)

next year i want to do an Arcinine or Breloom human form i think its called gijinka my mom is gonna be wobbafet

We have found vindication my Friends, 2 other pokemon related threads have cropped up. Here we are to add to those lists I hope.
