my real personality is too eviliy sarcastic to be Ashley...The only reason I cosplay Ashley is because I annoyed my friend 2 years ago by screaming 'LEON~' almost very similar to her. I'm more like a Jill Valentine or (I forgot her name!) Who ever Michelle Rodriguez played in the 1st RE Movie.
BTW: I moved the discussion over here because I felt like I was drawing attention away from the Merchant and I like the Merchant.

Haha thanks, that one is one of my favorites :P, in any case I look forward to seeing you guys there, I will more or less look how I did last year with some minor tweeks, my badge name will be the same name I have here also..if anyone needs any more info just let me know :)
By the way..what are you guys using as weapons? last time I brought an airsoft rifle in and was told to bring it back to my room lol..so I'm trying to see if there is any other way to get a pistol/rifle that would compliment my cosplay..thanks in advance :)

I leave early Monday...like 9 am early (I'm in the process of getting changed to Tuesday morning). I think we should do the shoot at night on Sunday or Saturday so that we can have a semi good theme set..instead of during the day...like 5pm when the sun is going down..give it a little of the game vibe. and it's a good time, it's before the fun night time at conventions begins.
I'd be up for a gathering but I'd need to know when and the time but I'm sure I'd be able to join in with this now the only other question is what to go as? I could bring out the Police Riot gear again or go as a U.B.C.S. maybe HUNK?

Sure thing and about the old thread it is possible it may have been deleted during the annual updates for each year's con but who knows? Either way I look forward to seeing lots of RE cosplayers again this year heheheheheheh

They just put out the Official Schedule of Events.
This gathering is set to be held at the exact same time as Richard Waugh's pannel "Beyond Wesker" (May 25th, 2008 @ 3:00pm).
Usually I wouldn't think of suggesting changing the time so close to the event. But given that this is Waugh's only pannel, and most likely quite a few of the Resident Evil Cosplayer's will be attending the pannel to increase the amount of people attending the gathering perhaps holding it in accordance with the pannel. For example we all meet up, go to the pannel, photoshoot after?
Plus it would be pretty cool to take over a corner of the room with Resident Evil Cosplayers Ya?

O.O holy crap i did not know about this but yeah we should all get together and go to the panel .... it would be kick ass!! uhh... should I change the time of ther Gathering or what.... or just keep it at 3:00 so we can get together head to the panel...
Well the panel starts at 3:00pm, so we need to be there prior to that to get seats, etc.
How about we meet outside the panel room at 2:30pm? It is in Panel Room 2-San Carlos (H) (which I assume means Hilton?) We're staying in the Marriott ourselves...
Oh, he actually has another panel on Saturday it turns out. 4pm Panel room 2 If people want to get together for that as well. :)

I live an hour or so away from fanime so Wesker,Krauser and me are probly going to be waiting in line at like 8:00 am in the morning...on friday..
Friday morning 8:00am eh! Steve will be sleeping, thats for sure.
I'll either be drinking my first cup of Umbrella Brand Coffee or passed out on my lab notes.
I know we're picking up our badges on Thursday so we wont have to worry about that whole line thingi.
I think most of Friday I'll be cosplaying Franziska VonKarma from Phoenix Wright, until the bar gathering when I'm changing. So if you see a Franziska with a Miles it's most likely Steve and I.
If you see a Riza Hawkeye in a way to small miniskirt with a Mustang that is most asuredly myself and stevie.
Hi there, I'm the Chief Photographer of The-O Network. I've been a pretty big RE fan for years since the very first RE game came out. I was hoping to take some photos of your gathering after the Wesker Panel, so if those of you that would like to have your photos taken and placed upon a website for our fan base as well as your own personal enjoyment. Please PM me and I shall work something out with all of you. I would also be going around to those of you to whom I believe have the best costumes in the group and asking if you would like to have a photoshoot that very same day. Some of your photos will be placed in a personal portfolio(with your permission of course), and for those of you who will be having photoshoots; I will be asking for your email addresses to send personally editted and perfected pictures to you.
And if you have another gathering next year, My girlfriend and I will be attending as Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine.
