for like 5 seconds looks like a shockwave from an Earthquake.
That would my 3rd time in my whole life as far as I know.
And you live in California??? Impossible! was it a big one?
I was just a five second rumble rumble!
Nothing HOLY CRAP grade.
Didn't feel anything. X.x; Must not have been located very near me.
There was some shaking last night but I'm weird and can feel vibrations of the earth and other stuff through whatever stable furniture or vehicle I am on. -.-;
The only thing different from normal that I experienced today was some strange knocking that had no source. X.x; I wonder if a ghost moved into the neighborhood or time anomalies are happening again... X.x;

Know it really funny, when I was living in Northridge, my apartment building would just shake at random times, then when there was an actual earth quake, I couldn't tell the difference until I watched the news in the morning...F-R-E-A-K-Y!

Any damage?
Ahh, I think I might have felt that one. I think I was at an anime screening that time and the screen started wobbling for a while.
Of course, it's no match for the bigger one that happened on October in San Jose. That one was just... interesting. lol

The 4.7 last night did some damage. A few gas leaks, some bolders took out a water plume, minor damage thru town.
The major damage is the moral of the town. We are all freaking out. We've been having "earthquake swarms" for months now and they're starting to get stronger. No one knows why we're having all of these quakes, but we are WAY overdue for a 7 or higher. It's like living on a time bomb. Sigh...nothing I can do but make sure my earthquake kit is prepared.
