Alright guys, I would like to know how u guys throw a good room party at cons, so in the future I would like to throw one myself at later cons!

Don't charge for drinks, but ask for a small donation of a few bucks to cover costs, and once all costs are covered, donate the rest to something nice. Like a local charity or something.

Oh, and tits help a LOT.
Helps a lot too if half the floor or more is your people and not strangers or "old" people. A beer tossed to someone 4 doors down can smooth out almost any problem.

It's a common mistake; you meet some people at a con whom you think are a lot of fun. So you unwittingly invite them to a room party. It starts out okay, you get the drinks, the pizza, everyone's having a great time and then...someones phone rings.
You barley hear a long winded rant from the person on the other end of the line, and then, a pause from the person on your end.
By this time, it's too late. Parties over, and all you've earned from it the wisdom to stay the hell away from that person.
